More international flights from Vietnam opened in 2015

To meet the traveling demand of passengers in 2015, many international flights from Vietnam are planned to exploit by local airlines. At the same time, new international flights will be improved and upgraded about quality of services and reasonable price.

It is expected that in 2015, Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air and Jetstar Pacific Airlines will have plans to exploit and expand international flights from Vietnam to meet the travel demand of customers. To specify, Vietnam Airlines coordinated with Jet Airways to open flights from Vietnam to India. The cooperation will create favorable condition for Indian tourists to have chances to travel and explore Vietnam. On the other hand, Vietnamese people will easily travel and explore about Indian culture. Jet Airways said that, Boeing 737-800 Next Generation will be used on flight from Ho Chi Minh City to India to provide passengers with the best services. VNA will coordinate with Jet Airways on route between Singapore and Mumbai/Delhi/Chennai, Bangkok/Hong Kong and Mumbai/Delhi, and direct flight Delhi - Ho Chi Minh City of Jet Airways via Bangkok.

In addition, from late March 2015, Vietnam Airlines will have exploiatation at Heathrow Airport in UK, one of the most important and busiest airports in the world. This will create good condition for passengers to connect domestic flights in UK and other approaches in European more conveniently. From Quarter II in 2015, Vietnam Airlines will be the first air carrier in Asia receive and put two new kinds of aircrafts as B787 and A350 into operation, along with upgrading the quality of 4-star international service. The new fleet of aircrafts will be used on long-haul routes to Europe. Besides, the airline operates new flights to northern neigboring country - China. The airline of Vietnam is preparing conditions to open flights from Vietnam to US by the end of the year. Therefore, it is expected that Vietnam Aviation Department must gain the level-1 Approval to monitor airlines in Vietnam to follow regulations and meet the international standards.

As being low-cost airlines, Vietjet and Jetstar Pacific also exploit more international routes. At the beginning of the year, Vietjet Air decided to open route to Vladivostoc (Russia) since May 2015 with the frequency of 3 round-trip flights per week, the flying time of 5 hours and 30 minutes. Being equiped with new aircraft and high-quality and economical aviation products, Vietjet flights to Russia will connect localities of two countries, to contribute to the cultural exchange, tourism cooperation, and cargo transportation between two countries, which contributes to the development of good relationship between Vietnam and Russia. Next, Vietjet will continue exploting international routes between provinces and cities of Vietnam and Russia. At the same time, the airline has a plan to expand flights to conuntries in South East Asia such as Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore with a transit in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific has been exploiting routes to 12 cities in Vietnam and international flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, Thailand, and Macau. In 2015, Jetstar will open flight Hanoi - Bangkok, Hanoi - Hong Kong, and other international flights in the region.
