From 16 June 2015, Qatar Airways launched a new route from Doha to Amsterdam (Netherlands) with the frequency of 06 flights per week, by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The new route will keep support the most modern transportation service of Qatar, and increase the capacity by 10%. Qatar Airways is the fifth biggest transporting carrier in the world. The airline provided cargoes to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam from 2003. Therefore, to celebrate the 12 years of contributing to Netherlands and international businesses by using B777 for cargo transportation, connecting markets in the world to Amsterdam through Hamad International Airport in Doha. The launch of new route helps passengers have more opportunities to take flights from Amsterdam to Vietnam and flights from Vietnam to Amsterdam.

Boeing 787 is one of the latest aircrafts of QR fleet of 158 aircrafts. Boeing B787 provides 254 seats with two cabins, 22 flat-seats in Business cabin, and 232 seats in Economy cabin. Each flight from Doha to Amsterdam takes 6 hours and 35 minutes. Passengers can enjoy luxury entertainment services with over 2000 blockbusters, music, and TV from Oryx One system. Qatar Aiways is one of the most developed airlines with the youngest fleet. 2015 is the 18th year of QR operation. It has a fleet of 158 aircrafts with flights to 146 destinations in six continents.

Flights from Amsterdam will depart in the afternoon, and arrive in Doha in the evening. Not just providing passengers with the most comfort and flexibility, but also connect 140 points to Hamad International Airport (Doha). Passengers can take Qatar Airways flights to 47 destinations in Africa and the Middle East, exploring 43 destinations in Asia, and traveled to two of the most famous cities of Australia - Melbourne and Perth, through Doha hub. Flights from Doha to Amsterdam will depart in the morning and arrive in Amsterdam in the early afternoon. Amsterdam - Ho Chi Minh flights will be exploited with the frequency of 06 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, while Amsterdam - Hanoi flights with 6 flights per week are operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
