Passengers in Qatar flights will have the opportunity to enjoy exquisite cuisine prepared by world renowned chefs. An on demand à la carte service menu lets you enjoy mouth-watering dishes whenever you like. Each seat has a large dining area that makes the perfect setting for 5-star dining.

Master Chefs have been chosen to create a unique and diverse Business and First Class menu. Together, they spent months adapting and testing their specialty dishes to meet the diverse demand of passengers.

We offer variety of delicious dishes to satisfy your palate and excite your senses. We understand that food is about pleasure, enjoyment and sharing, that is why all of our meals and desserts are prepared with a focus on the quality and the freshness of ingredients. Dine in spacious, extra wide seats and choose from a variety of appetizers and main courses.

We offer a range of signature drinks that you can enjoy as an aperitif or a complement to your dish. You can enjoy a cup of Mocktails and fruit juices, a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea served after each meal. We can accommodate most dietary requirements. Please let us know your preferences before flying.

You may travel with one (1) falcon in cabin per passenger. There is a limit of six (6) birds allowed in cabin.

You may also travel with one (1) service dog in cabin per passenger.

There is no limit to the number of pets that can travel as excess baggage however there may be weight or space limitations based on aircraft type.

Qatar Airways’ regulation on checked baggage:
- Flights to/ from Brazil: passengers of First Class, Business Class and Economy Class can bring 2 pieces; each piece is less than 32kg (70lb) in weight and 158cm (62in) in dimension.
- Flights between Brazil and Argentina: passengers of First Class, Business Class and Economy Class can bring 2 pieces; each piece is less than 23kg (50lb) in weight and 158cm (62in) in dimension.
- All other flights to/from Argentina, Canada, and the U.S: passengers of First Class and Business Class can bring 2 pieces, each piece does not exceed 32kg (70lb) and 158cm (62in), Economy Class can bring 2 pieces, each is less than 23kg (50lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
- Flights to/from all other destinations: passengers of First Class allow bringing 50kg (110lb) and a maximum size of 406cm (160in) (length + width + height), Business Class allow bringing 40kg (88lb) and a maximum size of 406cm (160in), Economy Class can bring 30kg (66lb) and a maximum size of 406cm (160in).

• Maximum dimension = length + height + width
• Baggage allowances may vary depending on the route and cabin class. Please check Qatar Airways baggage regulations printed on your ticket.
• Qatar Airways can apply excess baggage charges if you exceed the weight and/or piece allowances. For further details, please contact with your local Qatar Airways office.
• The maximum weight of a single piece of checked baggage is 32kg (70lb). Any baggage exceed the maximum weight must be separated and packed such that each piece weighs less than 32kg (70lb).

Baggage allowance on codeshare and interline journeys

If you book an itinerary, including a codeshare flight of Qatar Airways with another airline including Cathay Pacific, that operating airline may offer you a lower baggage allowance. Baggage allowances on codeshare routes are determined by IATA's Most Significant Carrier (MSC) rule.

Itinerary including codeshare or interline flights that form part of an itinerary where the ultimate destination is a point in the USA and Canada, the baggage allowances and charges will be applied throughout the journey without any change.

The new baggage rules on interline flights for Canada take effect for all tickets issued on/after 01 April 2015.

If you are booking a journey that includes a codeshare flight with another carrier, please contact us to confirm your baggage allowance.

In Qatar Airways flights, passengers of First Class and Business Class can bring two pieces, not to exceed a total weight of 15kg (33lb), and Economy Class can bring one piece, not to exceed 7 kg (15lb).

• Maximum dimensions of hand baggage are 50x37x25cm (20x15x10in)

• In addition to your hand baggage allowance, you can also carry personal items such as one ladies handbag or one small briefcase, one coat, cape or blanket, one umbrella, one pair of crutches or walking stick, one small camera or binoculars, limited reading material, an infant’s carrying basket, and duty-free items purchased on the day of your flight.

• Laptops and laptop bags have to fit within your hand baggage allowance.

Passengers may bring liquid items (gels, pastes, and aerosols). All liquid items must be contained in individual containers no greater than 100 ml (3.4oz) in capacity and put in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag which maximum capacity is one liter and size is no larger than 20x20cm (8x8in).

You are required to produce your transparent bag of liquids separately for security screening. Baby foods and medication are accepted take onboard. However, you may be required to present a prescription for medication you want to take onboard.

According to a regulation of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the USA, all electronic devices carried by customers on flights to the USA must be fully charged before departure time.

Passengers must be able to turn on their electronic devices at security checkpoints in order to prove they are not a disguised bomb, so it is advisable to carry the chargers for any electronic devices in your hand baggage.

Please note, passengers are not allowed to bring powerless electronic devices on aircraft of Qatar Airways.

- Diving equipment: All compressed air and gas tanks must be empty before they can be accepted. Underwater torches or knives must be appropriately packed.

- Bicycles: Bicycles may be carried as checked baggage or cargo. They must be properly packed in a bike bag or bike box.
To travel the bike must have:

• Deflated tyres
• Detached pedals
• Handle bars fixed parallel to the frame

- Fishing equipment: including rods, nets, tackle boxes, and other bulky equipment must be carried as cargo or checked baggage. They must be properly packed.

- Golf equipment: Golf bags and club sets must be carried as cargo or checked baggage.

- Musical instruments: The musical instruments with the maximum weight of 75kg and maximum length of 120cm can be taken onboard but you must buy a ticket for the seat occupied by the musical instrument.

- Wheelchairs: Qatar Airways provides onboard wheelchairs on all wide-bodied aircrafts (A330, A340, and B777). Passengers' own wheelchairs are carried at no charge and do not count towards the baggage allowance.

For items including: bicycles, golf equipment, ski equipment, surfboards, windsurfer equipment, kayaks, scuba diving equipment, fishing equipment and trekking equipment:

- In flights to/ from Argentina, Canada, and the U.S: passengers of Economy Class can bring 1 piece weighing no more than 23 kg, Business and First Class can bring 1 piece weighing no more than 32 kg.
- In flights to and from Brazil: passengers of Economy Class, Business and First Class can bring 1 piece weighing no more than 32 kg.
- In flights to and from all other destinations: passengers of Economy Class, Business and First Class can bring 10kg.
Note: Only one type of sporting equipment per passenger can qualify for the extra allowance.

Passengers must notify and show clearance to the airline required before transporting sports weapons and ammunition as cargo or checked baggage. The correct import and export licenses must also be presented before traveling. Each weapon must be unloaded and securely packed for transport. Sports ammunition (in divisions 1.4S, UN 0012 or UN 0014 only) is limited to a maximum of 5 kg per passenger.

Qatar Airways allows passengers with special needs to carry one wheelchair, free of charge, as checked baggage.

Passengers travelling with their own wheelchairs or other battery-powered mobility aids should inform the local Qatar Airways reservation office of the type of wheelchair intended to be transported prior to their journey so that we can make necessary arrangements to avoid any inconvenience during the journey.

Carriage of any motorised wheelchair - i.e. dry or wet (spillable) batteried wheelchair - requires prior approval of the airline as it involves special attention and precautionary measures for its safe transportation on an aircraft. Wet cell batteries, due its corrosive acid content, will require disconnection / removal of the battery from the wheelchair and packed in a special box, if deemed necessary.
