• Frequently, lost items can be found at the arrival station of your flight.
• Items such as a passport, identification, money and other valuable items may be turned over to the law enforcement offices or customs.
• If passengers do not receive their baggage thin reasonable period of time, Korean Air will retain for 90 days, unless otherwise regulated by the local law. The exceptions are neck pillows and perishable items, which will be disposed within a few days.
• In order to claim the item, please visit to Korean Air Office with an identification card.

If the size of your musical instrument is less than 115 cm (45 in.) such as a violin, it will be carried on free of charge. Larger musical instruments are permitted as carry-on items if you purchase an additional seat to accommodate each item.

If your baggage including sport equipment exceeds the free allowance provided by your fare type, you will have to pay an extra piece fee.
- Any item over 23 kg (50 lb) will be charged an overweight fee.
- Any item over 158 cm (62 in) will be charged an oversize fee.
- Maximum dimensions per bag, regardless of fee: Total weight, 32 kg (70 lb); total linear size(A+B+C), 277 cm (109 in).

As a set or individually, all golf clubs must be checked. No oversize fee applies to a golf bag.
If the total weight of one golf bag and one checked bag is:

• 23 kg (50 lb) or less: The bag is regarded as one piece of baggage
• 23 kg (50 lb) to 32 kg (70 lb): An overweight fee will apply
• Over 32 kg, no waiver fees; standard baggage policies apply

Equipment must be packed neatly and safely in specialized bag or container before checking in.

Each specialized bag (or container) will be charged, but will not incur an oversize fee.

If the total weight of one container and one checked bag is:
• 23 kg (50 lb) or less : The container is regarded as one piece of baggage.
• 23 kg (50 lb) to 32 kg (70 lb) : An overweight fee will apply.
• Over 32kg : no waiver fees; standard baggage policies apply.

• Equipment must be encased neatly and safely in specialized container and oxygen tanks must be completely empty.
• Specialized container for scuba equipment will be charged, but will not incur an oversize fee.
• One empty scuba tank (per passenger) will not be regarded as a piece of the checked baggage if it is paired with the dive bag or container.

• Handle bars are positioned along the length direction of the bike and pedals removed prior to packing.
• Each bicycle is regarded as one piece of checked luggage, but will not incur an oversize fee.
• Korean Air will not carry motorized bikes, scooters, jet skis, any fuel-powered device on board, even as checked baggage.

• The fins of a surfboard must be detached before packing in a suitable shipping bag or container.
• Each bag (or container) packing a surfboard will be charge, but will not incur an oversize fee.

Passengers can bring sport equipment in Korean Air flights: golf clubs, skies and snowboard, scuba diving equipment, bicycles, surfboards, fishing equipment, hokey and lacrosse equipment, racquets, skateboards, firearms and ammunition. However, all equipment must be carried under regulations of the airlines.

• One fishing rod (per passenger) will not count against your checked bag total if it is packed in a tackle box.
• Fishing equipment will be charged per bag (or container).
