Can I be listed in waitlist I can't book a confirmed seat on the flight I want?
Change
BA Airways operates a process whereby customers, when purchasing on our flexible/non-restricted fare types, can register their names to wait for a confirmed seat to become available on a flight that's currently "full" - this would happen if any passengers on a same ticket type cancel their reservation at a later date and their seats become available again.
We operate a fully-automated waitlist clearance system and if space becomes available more than 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure time, passengers will be cleared on a priority basis - starting with our Executive Club members by membership tier.

How can I make a group booking with British Airlines?
Change
Travel in Euro Traveller or World Traveller (economy)
Up to 20 people, and you know their passport names now: you can book and quote for up to 9 passengers in one single reservation at ba.com, and make repeat reservation for up to a maximum of 20 people using this system. However, it's important to remember that we can't guarantee that the same fare will be charged in each repeat booking - this is because all fares are subject to availability and the lowest fares, being the most popular, could sell out when making your first reservations.
Travel in World Traveller Plus (premium economy), Club Europe, Club World and First
If you know everyone’s passport names now, you can book and quote for up to 9 passengers in one single booking at ba.com– however, our Group Sales team will be happy to quote and book for you for 7 or more people in World Traveller Plus/Club Europe/Club World, or 4 or more people in First.

If I made my booking with a travel agent, can I use Manage My Booking of BA Airways?
Change
If you have purchased BA tickets at a travel agent and your reservation contains at least one flight with a British Airways flight number, then simply use your travel agent's reservation code to access the Manage My Booking service.
There are two important service limitations, which may apply to a travel agent booking:
- You may not be able to view all of your flights in Manage My Booking. If this is the case, then this is because British Airways does not own the booking and is normally allowed to view it's own flights plus with preceding and succeeding connecting flights (regardless of airline).
- Changes made through Manage My Booking to British Airways flights will normally not be passed back to your travel agent booking.
