Passengers planning to travel with pets should check information on items to be checked in advance, application for services and pets. Pets include dogs other than seeing-eye dogs, birds and cats. Other animals like goldfish and turtles cannot be transported by passenger planes, and must be transported by cargo carriers.

- When pet including cage is bigger than the dimensions of the carry-on baggage
- Allowed when the weight of a pet including the cage is less than 32kg, the sum of the width, depth and height of the cage is 246cm and the height does not exceed 84cm
- The number of pets that can be carried or checked may be restricted according to the flight type or the section of operation.

- The cage should have a lock, and the bottom shall be sealed.
- The cage shall have sufficient space for the pet to comfortably stand, lie and move around.
- Two pets should not be put in a single carrier. (Exceptions: two puppies under six months, two kittens under six months, a mother and a baby pet and a pair of birds)
- When carrying birds, the carriage shall be covered with cloth so that the birds cannot be seen.
- The cage should be made of sturdy materials, such as metal, wood and plastic.
- The cage may include cloth and leather, but it shall have a frame to maintain the shape.
- For domestic flights, you may buy a cardboard cage at point of check-in.
- Please mark your name and the emergency contact on the carrier.

Each passenger on Asiana Airlines flights can bring a piece of hand baggage weighing less than 10kg/22lb, and the sum of three dimensions does not exceed 115cm.

Yes.
- First class and Business class can bring up to 02 pieces of 10kg/22lb with the sum of three dimensions less than 115cm.
- Economy class can bring up to 01 piece of 10kg/22lb with the sum of three dimensions of less than 115cm.

Items not allowed for carry-on baggage:
- Liquid or gel in a container that exceeds 100ml (3.4 ounce)
- Sharp articles or articles with a long rod-like shape
- Articles that exceed the size of carry-on baggage (sum of length, width and height: 115cm/45in or less, weight: 10kg/22lbs or less)

In addition to hand baggage allowance, each passenger can bring onboard the following items:
- Small suitcases, handbooks, laptops, books and small duty-free goods
- Baby foods for in-flight use
- Canes or crutches of passengers with health problems
- Service dogs on flights with passengers free of charge, in Economy class
- A small and foldable stroller in the cabin only if storage space available. If not, the stroller may be handled as a checked baggage

Passengers will place their hand baggage under seats or in shelves. Baggage cannot be placed under seats in the emergency exit row.

Under the act on aviation safety and security, golf clubs is not allowed to carry as hand baggage. Please check them as checked baggage. Asiana Airlines suggest wrapping valuable leather bags with covers to prevent scratches.

- Gun powder of up to 5kg to be used for guns, as weapons or for sport
+ Limited to passengers authorized to transport or use the gun powder in accordance with the Weapon Control Act, who shows the certificate of approval in advance
+ Requiring the prior approval of relevant organizations and the airlines
