What to do with my pre-paid baggage if the flight of Cebu Pacific is rerouted?

According to the regulation of CEB, electronic equipment, including mobile phones, laptop computers, portable recorders, portable radios, CD players, electronic gaming or transmitting devices, radio-controlled toys and walkie-talkies… may be forbidden for limited on board. Operation of hearing aids and heart pacemakers is permitted.

Can I smoke or drink alcohol on flights of 5J Airways?

It is highly recommended that passengers are not allowed to smoke on any flights. Cebu Pacific may cause the imposition of severe criminal penalties and claim flights disruption costs against passengers if violating the regulation. Passengers who once smoke on a flight may be refused carriage in the future. In addition, passengers are not allowed to consume their own alcohol on flights.

What are regulations of Cebu Pacific Baggage on transporting valuable and fragile goods?

Passengers are not recommended to carry valuable and fragile goods (money, jewelry, precious metals, silverware, electronic devices, computers, cameras, video equipment, negotiable papers, securities or other valuables, passports and other identification documents, title deeds, artifacts, manuscripts…) in checked baggage. They should be put in hand baggage to be protected. 5J will not take any responsibility for damage or loss of these items put in checked baggage without declaration. In addition, passengers must ensure that their hand baggage is packed and placed in a safe and secured place to prevent or minimize loss or damage.

Why my baggage is refused for carriage on Cebu Pacific flights?

CEB will reject passenger’s baggage if the airline discovers any prohibited items in baggage. The Airline may refuse to carry as Baggage any which does not comply with the Airline’s published baggage requirement. Also, CEB does not transport baggage which is not packed properly and securely.

Why my baggage is searched by CEBU Pacific Air staff at security check point?

For reasons of safety and security, CEB’s staffs have the right to undergo a search and scan of person or passenger’s baggage to determine whether the passenger’s baggage contains any unacceptable or prohibited items.
If passenger does not agree the search and scan, the airline may refuse to carry the passenger and his baggage without refund of fare paid and further liability. The airline will not take any responsibility to the passenger or damage of his baggage.

Does Cebu Pacific provide ancillary products and services?
Baggage restrictions
Yes. Passengers can pre-order products and services of ancillary when booking flights. Ancillary Products include the following: Prepaid Baggage Allowance, Seat Selector, Sports Equipment and Inflight Meals. Ancillary Products are not transferable, not re-routable and not refundable or not storable in a Travel Fund unless full refund/travel fund is available to the passenger under the General Terms and Conditions or otherwise required by local laws, but may be rebooked subject to the policy of CEB.

What about the ancillary services on 5J flights provided by the third parties?

Cebu Pacific only operates as an agent in providing ancillary services requested by the passenger when making arrangements for passenger with any third party. Or, if Cebu Pacific issues a ticket or voucher relating to services of hotel or car rental. In this case, 5J will not represent the third party and not be reliable for any inability or refusal of the third party to provide the service, or for any loss/ damage sustained by the passenger.
