In case, passengers want to transport pet in cabin, pet must be kept in its container during flight. The container must have what pet needs. Each passenger can bring only 01 container of pet.

If passenger want to transport pet as checked baggage. The pet must feel comfort when staying in the hold. The “Conditions for transporting a dog or cat in the hold” form must be printed and presented at the airport upon departure. Each passengers can carry only 3 animals per person, but depending on the aircraft type, this number can be restricted.

Air France only allows dogs and cats to travel with passengers in the cabin or in the hold. Other animals may be transported by Air France Cargo. The rules for pet transport can vary depending on your departure country and destination. To determine the transport rules and whether a baggage item can travel with you as hand baggage or checked baggage, or if it must be transported by freight, please inform when booking.

All dogs and cats allowed on board of Air France (hand baggage or checked baggage) must be at least 15 weeks old.Any dog or cat traveling within the European Union must be identified by a microchip. It should also be vaccinated against rabies and possess a European passport.

The fact that passengers can travel with pet if having a train connecting or not depends of the route of train. Passengers should contact the airline for more detail.

- Passengers should tell the booking staff if traveling with animals when purchasing tickets.
- The total weight of pet and container is less than 6kg if traveling as hand baggage. There is no limit weight for guide dog. Passengers can carry only one animal per container and per person.
- If transporting animals as checked baggage, passengers have to get a crate corresponding to specific criteria (size, weight, etc.). Passengers can carry only 3 animals per person, but, depending on the aircraft type, this number can be restricted.

There is a charge to transport an animal, whether in the passenger cabin with you, or in the baggage compartment. Depending type of baggage and destination, the charge for transporting animal is calculated.

Yes. You child can travel in a car seat if he/she has a space booked in advanced. Please note that the car seat must be arranged on a window seat (except for emergency exit seats), or on one of the middle seats of a center aisle. The parent of that child will have to seat next to him/her.

All infants under 01 weekold are not recommended to travel by air. If they have to fly, before the departure parent must prepare all documents required by the police, customs, and immigration of the destination country.

Yes. If passengers and infant travel on long-haul flights in the Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, they will be provided with bassinet which are designed for infants weighing less than 10 kg / 22 lbs and measuring less than 70 cm / 27 in.

However, the number of bassinets in flight is limited. Thus, passengers should contact the airline to know if there is any bassinet left at least 48 hours before departure. Passengers cannot request a bassinet online.

Before departure, passengers should prepare the following things if traveling with baby:
- check all required travel documents
- bring necessary things to change the baby
- give your baby a bottle/pacifier duruing takeoff and landing to help relieve pressure on eardrums
- bring prescriptions or other medical document if your baby is takeing medication.
