+ If I fly on domestic flights of Thai Airways, How procedures for my baggage and boarding pass?

Check In

It is allowed to print your own boarding pass with A4 size paper included your onward/return flight in the same booking code (reservation code)with THAI for up to two sectors, except passengers hold paper tickets or purchasing tickets through website online or telephone sale.

You will be required to show your boarding pass, baggage to register, ID card or passport and credit/debit card used to purchase this ticket(if applicable) to a THAI bag drop counter (at Bangkok International Airport Counter C15) at least 45 minutes prior to your flight departure.

If you are unable to print your boarding pass, please contact THAI bag drop counter at the respective airports for issuing your boarding pass.
If you have no baggage to register, please proceed directly to the boarding gate and present your ID card or passport to THAI staff at the boarding gate.
+ Who can be a Royal Orchid Plus member of THAI?

To become the Royal Orchid Plus membership is very easy and it is opened to any passenger within 2 years old or older. When becoming member, you can earn miles for your flights.
+ Can I earn miles of Thai Airways before becoming Royal Orchid Plus membership?

No, you cannot. If you want to earn miles, you must be enrolled in the program before time of flight departure, or when you use the services of Travel Partners that are eligible for mileage accrual.
+ Where are registration forms of THAI Royal Orchid Plus membership available?

Printed registration forms are available at all THAI offices all over the world. The time for processing your enrollment is up to 3 weeks.
+ Why are not miles automatically credited to my Royal Orchid Plus account?

There are major reasons which can be easily avoided as follows:

- Not always inform your membership number when booking and show your membership card at check-in counter at the airport.

- Not check carefully your name and membership number on boarding pass of your flight or travel partner receipt are the same the information on your Royal Orchid Plus card. If there are any happening errors, the miles will not be auto-credited to your member account.

- If you already changed the time or date of your flight and not yet informed booking (reservations) or showed your member card at check-in counter, again miles will not be credited in an automatic way.

- Award travel does not accrue miles.

- Promotion fares for Economy Class on travel partner airlines and Star Alliance are often not eligible for mileage accrual. You should check carefully with the airline you are going to fly with if miles are earned with them.

- Miles earned with partner hotel stays or car rentals are determined by the paid rate. Again check with the partner if your paid rate will earn miles.
+ Are Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus miles possible to be transferred among member accounts?

No, passenger cannot transfer or combine the miles with other Royal Orchid Plus member accounts, or other Star Alliance frequent flyer program accounts. Miles is only available for each personal account holder.
+ Do I earn Qualifying Miles on all THAI and Star Alliance routes?

Yes, you can earn Qualifying Miles on THAI and Star Alliance operating flights when determining membership account. The Qualifying Miles number is determined by the paid fees and/ or sector flown or distance.
+ How to determine THAI Airlines Royal Orchid Plus membership status?

Flights are operated by THAI and Star Alliance determining Royal Orchid Plus membership card status - Member, Silver or Gold. If you are member, you can earn Qualifying Miles.
+ Can lost or stolen Royal Orchid Plus membership cards of Thai Airline be replaced with another?

Yes, membership cards can be replaced. You need contact the Members Service Centre in Bangkok, local THAI office or make your replacement request to email: [email protected].
+ How can I earn Qualifying Miles of Thai Airways according to the fare paid?

You can earn Qualifying Miles of Thai Airways as follows:

- Actual miles flown are 150% for First Class.
- Actual miles flown are 125% Business Class.
- Actual miles flown are 110% for Premium Economy Class.
- Actual miles flown are 100% for Economy Class.
- Actual miles flown are 50% for Promotion Economy Class with class G and 25% with V / W classes on international flights. Promotion tickets fares on Star Alliance airlines are also possible to earn reduced mileage, or not be eligible for mileage accrual.
