For travelling to and from the United States, passengers are permitted to carry a free baggage allowance for both adults and infant according to checked baggage regulations for international sectors to/from USA/Canada as follows:
Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class (Business Class) will be free with baggage allowance of two pieces. Each piece weight shall not be over 32kg and maximum dimension in total per bag (length + width + height) shall not exceed 158cm.
Economy class will be free with baggage allowance of two pieces. The each item weight shall not be over 23kg and maximum dimension in total per bag (length + width + height) shall not exceed 158cm.
Infant not occupying seat will be free with baggage allowance of one piece. The each item weight shall not be over 23kg and maximum dimension in total per bag (length + width + height) shall not exceed 115cm.
Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) Gold Card members will enjoy the privilege of one extra baggage on top of the regular allowance in any ticket class. The applicable privilege will be used along with the frequent flyer status to only those tickets that are completely online or involved interline transportation with other carriers who agreed to the applicable privilege of the bonus.

Hand baggage
Total weight of hand baggage must be less than 7 kg, each passenger is allowed to carry one baggage at maximum length 56 cm, thickness 25 cm and width 45 cm. These dimensions include handles, wheels, and side pockets.
Passengers are required to place the hand baggage under the seat in front of them or in the overhead compartment on flight.
Passengers can bring the following free of charge items:
- Wallet, purse, handbag with the maximum 37.5 cm long, 25 cm wide, 12.5 cm deep or total three dimensions are not over 75 cm and the total weight is not over 1.5kgs. Laptop, notebooks, or portable personal computers are also applicable as above condition.
- Handicapped passengers, elderly passengers and sick passengers must use walking sticks (crutches).
- Telephone, camera or small binoculars

Sport/Special baggage is allowed to carry as checked baggage as bike, bowling, fishing equipment, golfing, snow/water skiing, surfboard/windsurf, scuba diving, sporting firearms, one portable musical instrument. Note that:
Bike: Only allow 1 bike per passenger to be included in the check baggage allowance.
Golfing: Only allow 1 golf set per passenger to be included in the check baggage allowance.
Surfboard/Windsurf: Exclude in check baggage allowance. Except if passenger fly to/from New Zealand/Australia, the surfboard impossible able to include in the checked baggage allowance. In case it exceeds the baggage allowance, passenger must pay special unit price (flat rates).
AVIH (Dog or Cat carried as checked baggage with charges): Often exclude in the allowance, Only Dog or Cat is only accepted to some fixed destinations because of regulations of each countries. You are allowed to carry one piece of carry-on luggage with total dimensions (long+ high+ wide) not exceeding 115 cm (56 + 46 + 25 cm) and maximum weight of one pieces 7 kg (15.4 lbs). If pieces exceed the regulation, they must be checked at the Check-in counter before the time of departure. Note that a woman is allowed to carry a purse as well.
