Do I know what the Thai Airways check-in counters require at the airport?
Check In
Check-in counters for international flights, the requirement is your passport with visa (if required at the destination) and your ticket.
Check-in counters for domestic flights, the requirement is only your ticket and I.D.
All passengers who book online are required to show their credit card they used to purchase the ticket when making the check-in procedure at the airport. Also, if you want to plus credit for frequent flyer miles of Thai Airways, you should show your Royal Orchid Plus card when you check in at the airport.

What is the regulation for reservation of Thai Airways tickets?

An advance reservation should be made at least 6 hours and a maximum of 11 months before predicted departure time, except:
- Flights starting from Manila are required a reservation at least 72 hours before the time of departure.
- Flights starting from Jakarta and Denpasar are required a reservation at least 12 hours before the time of departure.
- Flights starting within/from Thailand are required a reservation at least 48 hours before departure for Bank ATM and Counter Service payment, 24 hours before the time of departure for Over the Counter payment.
Every booking has a maximum of 9 passengers.
Cancellation of onward reservations: Note that if you do not show up for any flight without
advising us in advance, we have the right to cancel your return or onward reservations. However, if you inform and advise us in advance, we will not cancel your return or onward reservations.

Do I need to reconfirm my flight with THAI?

No need to reconfirm your flight, but if you book ticket from our website and have any change, we will inform for you via email at once. Note that many airlines still require a reconfirmation before departure time. If your flight includes a portion on another airline you may have to reconfirm onward flight at least 72 hours before departure.

Can I make an advance seat selection for the domestic flights of Thai?

No, you cannot. Advance seat selection is not applicable on domestic flights in all ticket classes.

Can I book Thai Airways tickets for group rates?

You should know that group booking rates are not applicable when booking online via website. You should contact the website you want to book group rates or group rates are applicable for sales offices of Thai only.

Yes, you can. If you want to upgrade your ticket class, it depends on the terms and conditions of the ticket fare type which you have selected to book during the booking process and you often have to pay extra fee for upgrading class.

How can I make an online advance seat selection with Thai Airline?

You can make an online seat assignment on international flight 48 hours before flight departure time. After booking online is completed, online seat assignment must be made at THAI offices or at the airport at least 48 hours before departure. For tickets booked within 48 hours before flight departure, seat assignment may be made at check in counter at the airport upon date of travel.
