Jetstar launches Saigon - Chu Lai flights

Recently, Jetstar Pacific Airlines officially operates Saigon - Chu Lai flights to serve the traveling demand of passengers who are locals of Quang Nam and Ho Chi Minh City, and domestic and international tourists.

On April 22, 2015, Jetstar Pacific Airlines officially kicked off the commercial operation and ticket sale of Ho Chi Minh - Chu Lai flights. The operation of flights from Saigon to Chu Lai will start from May 19, 2015. Passengers in these flights will be transported by Airbus A320 with 180 Economy seats. On the occasion, from 11:00 on April 22 to 24:00 April 22, Jetstar Pacific will sell cheap Saigon - Chu Lai flights with the airfare just from 250,000 VND/turn. The promotion is applied to flights in the period from May 19 - 28, 2015 and from September 7 to October 22, 2015. In the initial period, Jetstar Pacific implements three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Jetstar tickets price of flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Chu Lai is flexible, which is arranged in ascending to meet the demand and conditions of passengers.

Chu Lai International Airport

The flight from Saigon to Chu Lai has number of BL228, departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport at 11:20. The flight from Chu Lai to Ho Chi Minh City has number of BL229, departing from Chu Lai Airport at 13:10. The total duration of the flight is 1 hour and 15 minutes. The General Director of Jetstar Pacific said that, this is the first time the airline implement the flights from Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and surrounding areas to Ho Chi Minh City and southern part. The operation contributes to the development of tourism and economic exchange of localities. In addition, this is the 8th domestic route opened by the airline within the first four months of 2015. There are five routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon/Dong Hoi/ Tuy Hoa, and from Buon Ma Thuot - Thanh Hoa/Haiphong. Jetstar also sells tickets in two routes of Hanoi - Dalat, and Hanoi - Phu Quoc (departing from June 1, 2015).
