+ Can I download my mobile boarding pass and how to download it?

Check In

- To find your upcoming flights, you can either log in as an Executive Club member, as a registered passenger or use your booking reference.
- When check-in opens for your next flight, tap the "Check in/Get boarding pass" button.
- If you have not processed the check-in, you will be announced to do so. Once you have checked in for your flight, the boarding pass will be downloaded to your phone.
- You can now access your boarding pass at any time even if you're not connected to the Internet.
+ What is the best time to check in for flights of British Airways?

You can check in online or on your mobile phone, from 24 hours and up to 1 hour, before your scheduled departure time.
To find out check-in times at the airport, go to Manage My Booking. Click on your flight number, then ‘check-in’ and then click on ‘other ways to check-in’.
For London airports check-in closes at:
- Heathrow - 45 mins before departure
- Gatwick - 45 mins before departure
- London City - 20 mins before departure
OpenSkies check-in desks, at Paris Orly, New York JFK and Newark, close 50 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
You need have your boarding pass before check-in closes or you are not allowed to get on boarding.

Screening of hand baggage can take longer than expected, so allow plenty of time to travel through the airport and arrive at the gate on time.

London Heathrow
If your flight departs from Terminal 3 or 5, you need to go through security at least 35 minutes before your scheduled departure time or you will miss your flight.

Travelling from the USA
Even if you have already checked in, you need to go to a check in desk to have your travel documents reviewed before you go through security.

These are the absolute minimum connecting times between flights across all the terminals at London Heathrow. These apply when your connecting flights are reserved on one ticket and your baggage has been through-checked from your arriving flight to your departing one:

Connecting flights within Terminal 5 - please allow a minimum of 60 minutes (1 hour) between flights

Connecting flights between Terminal 5 and Terminal 4 - please allow a minimum 1 hour 45 minutes between flights

Connecting flights between Terminal 5 and Terminal 3 - please allow a minimum 1 hour 30 minutes between flights

Connecting flights between Terminal 5 and Terminal 2 - please allow a minimum 1 hour 30 minutes between flights
