Can I change flight of 9W Airlines in case of death of a passenger in that booking?

9W does not allow customers to have a reservation cancelled online after check-in. Customers have to connect the booking agent where they bought tickets or contact directly to center of Jet Airways to get support.

No. passengers cannot cancel their flight at the kiosk check-in. They have to go to check-in desk for further information and assistance.

Can I make changes, cancel or refund my reservation on Jetairways official site?

If customers are JetPrivilege members, they can use facility of online cancellation and refund. If the status of the booking is checked-in, used or refunded, the same will not be displayed. Once the airline receives a refund request, it will process the refund within 3 working days. Cancellation and refund fee (if any) depend upon the JetPrivilege Tier and fare conditions.

How does Jet Airways refund in case of death?

In case of passenger’s death or prevented from traveling by reason of death in the immediate family (spouse, children, parents), passengers will be refunded when having a death certificate/ copy thereof duly executed by the competent authorities. The death certificate or copy thereof shall remain on the member’s files for a period of not less than two years.
In case of death of a passenger or death in the immediate family before initiation of travel, refund / date change will be permitted without any additional charges / penalties.
After initiation of travel, in case of a passenger’s death, refund may be arranged. Accompanying passengers will interrupt travel until the completion of formalities and religious customers, no later than 45 days after the travel is interrupted.

What is the cancellation policy for Jet Airways flights to / from USA?

Passengers will not have to pay cancellation fee if they make cancellation for flights to/from the USA before 24 hours after the creation of booking is more than 7 days (168 hours) before the departure time. However, if the reservation is cancelled beyond 24 hours after the PNR creation. Cancellation charges based on the fare rules of the ticket purchased would be applied if:
- Reservation is cancelled beyond 24 hours after the reservation creation

What happens if I cannot meet the conditions of 9W cancellation for domestic flights?

On domestic flights, as the limit of ticketing time and passengers cannot meet the condition of 9W cancellation, they have to pay 25% on the basic fare of full-fare tickets. For special fares, passengers should contact the airline or booking agent to know more about cancellation charges. A documentation charge is levied when a confirmed ticket is processed for refund.

- If the ticket has been paid for in cash, customers will refund the amount in cash.
