Passengers should pay attention to some notes:
- The maximum weight of item on the extra seat must not exceed 75kg.
- The height of item should not exceed the height of the headrest of the seat.
- The item must be secured with the seat belt or extension seat belt.
- Item which is too large may not be allowed on board.

An electronic ticket is the ticketless travel service of Jet Airways. It is a new way of using the technology to issue tickets which eliminates paper tickets. All information about tickets and booking reservation will be recorded in the system of Jet Airways.

In case of losing etickets, passengers can contact the booking agent where they bought tickets to request for issuing another eticket.

There are many benefits of buying etickets. Etickets are more convenient, faster and safer than paper tickets. Passengers do not have to worry if losing tickets, as the tickets can be reissued. If booking at the official site of 9W, passengers can book a confirmed ticket up to 2 hours before departure time. Passengers just stay at home to buy Jet Airways tickets online and print. Meanwhile, paper tickets take longer time to collect than etickets.

If customers buy paper tickets, they can know their information on tickets via email. The email consists of information about itinerary/receipt. If customers do not receive a conventional paper ticket, they can print the content of email and use at the airport.

There are three types of ticket classes: Jet Airways First Class, Première, and Economy.

It depends on where you buy 9W tickets. If customers buy at the official site of Jet Airways, all basic fares on domestic and international flights do not include taxes, airline fuel charges, and fees. Besides, the airline is required by the government to charge and collect group service fee applied to INR and USD fares for domestic and international sectors.

Jet Airways fares are subject to change without notice. If customers have bought a ticket and the fare has increased, they do not have to pay the different, unless they change departure date. Ticket will be re-priced at the time of making changes.

Customers can upgrade tickets of 9W online if:
- The tickets are booked
- Flights are operated by Jet Airways
- It is applicable for revenue tickets (589 stock) only.
- Upgrade depends on a first come first serve basic.
- Free baggage allowance will be applied: the baggage allowance on the reissued ticket will be as per the original class/cabin and not as per the upgraded class/cabin. Members of Jet Privilege are eligible for additional free baggage allowance as applicable to their respective JetPrivilege tier.
- Passengers can earn JPMiles and access Lounge.
- Passengers are not refunded the online upgrade fee. Yet, the original ticket is refundable or not depending on its fare rules.
