Yes. Jet Airways Unaccompanied Minors service is available on all flights within India and international flights. Unaccompanied Minors are defined as below:
- Flights within India: a child between 5 and 12 years old traveling along or traveling with one or more passengers younger than 18 years old is considered an unaccompanied minor.
- International flights: a child between 6 and 12 years old traveling alone or traveling with one or more passengers younger than 18 years old is considered an unaccompanied minor.

Jet Airways ensures that your children will be looked after carefully throughout the journey. They will be arranged to seat near the galley to ensure they are cared by the airline’s crew at all times. It is requested a proof of identity to hand over the child to the designated person.

On flights within India, children traveling alone have to meet the following conditions:
- Information about children must be provided when booking.
- Unaccompanied children will be charged for adult fare.
- A duly filled Unaccompanied Minors form is required to submit to 9W before departure at the point of origin.
- 9Wground staff will place the child under the guardianship of able Cabin Crew In-Charge onboard the flight.
- On arrival the Cabin Crew In-Charge will hand over the child to the ground staff who will then accompany and assist them with baggage claim.
- Jet Airways ground staff will reunite the child with the designated guardian at the arrival area.

Jet Airways will not transport a child traveling alone if the journey involves an overnight stay. Yet, if a flight is diverted to another station, a female staff of 9W will go with the child in the hotel room until departure of the flight.

- If a child traveling alone has an onward connecting flight on 9W or any other airline with an overnight stay, the child must be collected on arrival at the point of transfer by a person who is nominated by the child’s parents or guardians, and remain with the child until being placed in the care of ground staff handling the onward connecting flight. If not, 9W will refuse to transport the unaccompanied minor.

- Jet Airways will transfer the unaccompanied child provide the connecting time is less than 4 hours, if the onward connecting flight departs from another airport in the same city, or another terminal.

Service charges for transporting unaccompanied minors depend on different flights:
- Flights within India: 30USD/child
- Short-haul flights (India to SAARC/ Gulf and vice versa and Kolkata – Bangkok – Kolkata): 60USD/child
- Long-haul flights (rest of the world): 100USD
Note:
- SAARC includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- Gulf region includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

- Jet Airways applies charge for each flight. Stopover point will be considered as a destination.
- In case of multiple stopovers in a journey, the charge will re-apply from every intermediate stopover point to the next stopover point in the journey.
- For interline and codeshare travel, the Operating Carriers' rules will apply.
- Service involving a dedicated staff member travelling on the flight with the child cannot be provided.

In case children travelling with parents or guardians on the same flight but in different cabins, they shall be considered as 'Accompanied Minors' but will be treated as 'Unaccompanied Minors' on board the aircraft.

- Unaccompanied Minor age criteria will apply to accompanied minors.
- Accompanied minors will be charged adult fare.
- The Unaccompanied Minor form is not required for such cases and Unaccompanied Minor handling charges do not apply.
- All travel documents of the accompanied minor shall be handled by the parent or guardian.
- Passengers are requested to limit their visits between cabins during the journey.

- If the onward connecting flight is on another airline, departing from the same terminal or another terminal which can be easily accessed without exiting the terminal building, 9W will transfer the unaccompanied child to the connecting carrier provided the connecting time is 4 hours or less.

- If the onward connecting flight is on another airline and departs from another airport in the same city or another terminal that cannot be accessed without exiting the terminal building, a person must be nominated by the parents or guardians to collect the UMNR at the transfer point and further hand over him or her to the onward airline.

Customers can select the “Book Your Meal” option while booking ticket on the official site of Jet Airways. The Book Your Meal option is applicable for guests travelling in First Class and Premiere only. In case customers book via travel agents, they should request meals at the time of booking. Customers can change their meal selection by contacting the airline up to 48 hours before departure time.

Customers can select their preferred meal up to 48 hours prior to departure. Preferred meals are available to serve on select international flights. Customers can select prefered meal up to 3 months from the date of booking. The service of ordering meal is free for the benefit of our First Class and Premiere passengers.
