There are some rules on SU flights’ transportation firearms:
- Passengers have to declare their intent to bring firearms as their baggage when booking a ticket and check-in.
- Passengers having firearms as baggage must check in no later than 1 and a half hours before departure.
- Passengers have to present an appropriate permit for the right to keep and bear firearms on flights within the Russian Federation.
- Passengers have to present a permit for import/export of firearms issued by an authorized division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on fights to/from/through the Russian Federation.

What are regulations of SU for transporting liquids bought at duty-free shops at the airport?

All liquids bought at the duty-free shops at the airport must be put in a sealed clear plastic bag. In addition, SU does not allowed to bring the following items in passenger cabin:
- Corkscrews;
- Needles for subcutaneous injections (if no medical justification is produced);
- Knitting needles;
- Scissors with a blade length of less than 60 mm;
- Folding (without fixation device) travel knives, penknives with a blade length of less than 60 mm.

What about transporting live animals by SU Airways?
Baggage restrictions
Carriage of live animals and birds onboard is not included in the free baggage allowance.Excess baggage fee will be applied for the second baggage piece (regardless of the total number of the passenger’s baggage pieces, including live animals, and service class). Passengers must announce the airline at least 36 hours before the schedule departure time.
If live animals/birds are transported as checked baggage, they will not be treated as free baggage allowance. Excess baggage fee will be applied as the second baggage piece. Additional fee will be calculated if the size and/or weight of the animal with the cage exceeds the allowance for one baggage piece. Passengers also have to announce 36 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If live animals/birds are transported as checked baggage, they will not be treated as free baggage allowance. Excess baggage fee will be applied as the second baggage piece. What to do in case of Aeroflot lost baggage?

In cases of Aeroflot baggage lost, passengers should contact SU baggage staff at the “Lost and Found” desk before leaving the arrival hall; or emai: [email protected] when passengers are not at the airport. It takes about 21 days to search baggage from the moment the passenger submit the report.If the lost luggage is not found or is damaged, passenger will get a compensation.

- If the delay is six hours or more during the night, or eight hours or more during the day, Aeroflot provides checked-in passengers with hotel accommodation plus catering services and transfer to and from the hotel.
