If customers purchase tickets by their credit card, they will get the refund via credit card. The refunding time depends on the billing cycle of credit card firm. Customers will receive refund credit with a notification on their credit card statement. If buying tickets by cash or check, customers will get refund within 20 days upon the request.

If you purchased your tickets with cash or a check, your refund will be processed within 20 business days after the receipt of your claim by American Airlines Passenger Refund Services.

Passengers cannot get their money used to buy American Airlines tickets back, because these tickets are non-refundable. However, these tickets can be refunded, or passengers receive voucher, in cases when supporting documents are provided:
- Upon death of the passenger
- Upon death of family member or traveling companion
- When schedule changes are implemented by American Airlines that are unacceptable to the customer and result in a change of 61-120 minutes
- Upon request, taxes and fees not imposed by the airline may be refunded if the airline's obligation to remit the tax or fee depends upon use of the ticket for travel.

According to regulation of American Airline refund policy applied to each fare, the value of unused non-refundable ticket may be used to buy a new ticket. Customers must use the advantage no later than one year from the date of issuing the original ticket. However, the itinerary for any unused or partially used nonrefundable ticket must be canceled before the ticketed departure time of the first unused ticket, or the ticket will lose any remaining value, and cannot be used for travel or reissue.

Almost non-refundable tickets are issued on a round-trip basis. If customers buy a ticket with only the segments they actually traveled, the fare would probably have been much higher, so typically there is no residual value from the unused portion of your ticket.

Checked baggage is baggae of passenger. The baggage is carried by the airline under its own responsibility. The checked baggage must be marked with atag and transported in the baggage compartment of the aircraft. In addition, passengers should add a personal tag showing passenger’s name, flight number, date and phone number to each piece of checked baggage. These personal tags are available when buying ticket or checking in at the airport.

Checked baggage Aeroflot is regulated depending on service class:
- Business Class – all fare groups: 02 pieces, weighing less than 32kg each
- Comfort Class: 02 pieces, weighing less than 23kg each
- Economy Class – Premium Group: 02 pieces, weighing less than 23kg each
- Economy Class – remaining fare groups: 01 piece, weighing less than 23kg
Each of baggage does not exceed 158cm in the sum of three dimensions.
