- Step 1: Click the "Print Boarding Pass" button on the main boarding pass page.
- Step 2: Choose "Color Matching" from the settings drop down.
- Step 3: Choose "Other Profiles" from the profile drop down.
- Step 4: Choose "Generic Gray Profile" from the list and then click the "OK" button.

If you are using Windows operation system:
- Step 1. Click the "Print Boarding Pass" button on the main boarding pass page.
- Step 2. Select either Grayscale or Pure Black and White under the Color/grayscale option at the bottom of the print dialogue window.

In this case, passengers will receive a link "Print without Destination Highlights" on their boarding pass. Thus, passengers do not have to print a boarding pass with the weather, destinations highlights and offers.

If passengers checked in and printed boarding pass with online check-in, they can go directly to Security with their government-issued photo ID and boarding pass. Then, come to the boarding gate and waiting for departure. Passengers have to ensure to verify gate assignment on arriving at the airport to know whether gate assignment and departure times change or not. Passengers have to present at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. The reservation of passengers will be cancelled if they do not check in and present at the boarding gate 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers have to provide the following information:

- Passenger’s passport name
- Passenger’s passport number
- Expiration date
- Passenger’s date of birth
- Passenger’s Gender
- The country of issuance
- Passenger’s nationality

If passengers are members of AAdvantage, they should add travel document to their AAdvantage account. Then, American Airlines will add the information automatically when passengers use check-in online on the official site of AA. Passengers should keep updating their information.

Passengers can change one time to the first and middle name of their account. If wishing to change, please contact the customer service of AAdvantage.

For the purposes of security, passengers may be asked for verifying their passport number, expiration date and date of birth.

Yes, passengers can check in for other passengers provided that:
- Having names of all passenger names
- All required travel documentation for check in
