Yes. Customers can use their saved credit card or debit card to buy upgrades, and provided that customers can log in their account. If customers cannot log in, they will have a chance to use saved credit/debit card without preventing customer’s check-in process.

Yes, customers can receive an email receipt at the time of upgrade purchase if they request. This is the only time when customers have a chance to request.

After purchasing 500-mile upgrades, passengers can use them immediately. Yet, the upgrades will not appear in passenger’s account until the next day.

If passengers have mobile boarding pass, at the airport, they will recapture the boarding pass from their mobile phone or PDA and ensure that the barcode is visable on the screen. Then, go to Security with their government-issued photo ID and that boarding part. Present the barcode at the security checkpoint.

Passengers can go directly to the boarding gate. They must be sure to verify their assignment when arriving at the airport because gate assignment and departure times can be changed. Passengers have to present at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Mobile boarding pass of AA is a boarding pass that passengers will receive on mobile device with passengers’ email provided before. Passengers in flights of American Airlines or American Eagle can choose to receive the boarding pass on their mobile phone.

To obtain mobile boarding pass, when pasengers check in online, they choose "Email to Cell Phone or other Mobile Device" option and provide their email address for their mobile phone or PDA.
