How long do I have to wait for Delta Air wheelchair service for connecting flights?

Yes. Distable passengers can order a personal safety assistance in the following cases:
- Disable passenger is unable to comprehend or respond to safety related instructions.
- Disable passenger is unable to communicate with Delta personnel sufficient to receive the safety briefing.
- Disable passenger is unable to physically assist in his/her own evacuation during an emergency.

Can Delta Air Line transport pregnant passengers?

Yes. Delta does not have any restrictions for passengers as pregnant travelers. So the special passengers do not have to submit health certificate.However, if pregnant passenger traveling afterthe 8th month of pregnance, it's a good idea to have a health check to be sure that travel is stricted or not.

Will Delta Air Lines transport children travel alone?

Yes. Delta Air Lines will carry unaccompanied children if:
- Children’s parent or authorized adult has to take children to the departure gate, and remain until the flight takes off.
- Changes in Designated Adult assigned to pick up minor cannot be made at the airport. It must be contacted the airline.
- In case of connecting flights, children will be assisted by a Delta or business partner employee.
- A parent or accompanying adult should report to the destination airport 02 hours prior to scheduled arrival to obtain a gate pass.
- A valid ID must be presented and signature captured of the person meeting the child. Delta will not release to anyone other than the person named.
- Children should be seated near a Flight Attendant for safety.

What are UM Delta Air Lines programs available?

In Unaccompanied children program, Delta only transport all children 5-14 years old traveling with/without an adult (at least 18 years old) or parent/legal guardian. It is optional for children 15-17 years old. However, there are some restrictions as below:
- Minors under 4 years old: may not alone (must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age).
- Minors from 5-7 years old: can travel alone in non-stop flights.
- Minors from 8-14: can travel alone in both non-stop and connecting flights.
- 15-17 (who travel as an Unaccompanied Minor):may travel on nonstop and connecting flights only

- UM is not permitted on Red Eye flights (between 9pm-5am). Exceptions can be applied if a qualifying connection flight is not available from the airport such as international flights, domestic short haul flights (2 hours or less, non stop), flights to/from Alaska and Hawaii, and markets with only one connection and it is the last flight of the day.

How much is the fee of unaccompanied minor program fee of Delta Air?

The program will charge $150 USD/CAD/EUR each way (CAD/EUR currency is used when departing Canada and Europe). It is applies to both domestic and international non-stop and/or connecting flights and is in addition to the ticketed adult fare.The fee is compulsory for children between 5-14 years old and when a 15-17 year-old is added into the program by a parent/guardian. Only one fee will be charged for up to 4 children traveling together. The fee can be paid one way or round trip at time of check-in or in advance when booking.

What should I do if I send my child traveling with Delta?

If passengers allow their children to travel alone, they should follow some tips below:
- Prepare minimum hand baggage (or/and checked baggage) which is also attached ID and contact information.
- Should prepare some food for child to eat during flight, as well as book, games…
- Children are not allowed to leave the airport or gate area without being accompanied by Delta Air Lines staff.

What is requirement for adult traveling with minor in Delta Air Lines?

An adult at least 18 years of age must present at the check-in counter with the unaccompanied minor. The adult may not be allowed to walk with children to the boarding gate at some airports outside of the US. The adult must remain at the airport until the airplane take off.
In case, children come to check-in counter alone, staff of Delta is not allowed to complete check in. Children’s parent/guardian will be contacted to return to the airport before check-in time.
Accompanying adult must present the following things at check-in:
- ID Photo (ID card, or driving license)
- Address (as shown on identification)
- Contact phone number (in case of any changes or emergency)
