Can I bring cremated remains in Delta Air Lines flights?
Special baggage
Yes. However, passenger has to submit a death or cremation certificate. They must pass through the x-ray machine. TSA suggests you purchase a temporary or permanent crematory container of lighter material such as wood or plastic, which can easily be x-rayed. Normal bag fees apply.

Which infant/children items can be carried in Delta plane?
Special baggage
For unticketed infant/child:they don’t have a baggage allowance. So any baggage for the child counts as part of the adult's baggage allowance.
For ticketed infant/child:
- Children ticketed 10% of adult’s rate are allowed to bring a bag of less than 20lbs (10kg) with the maximum dimension of 45inches (114cm), plus a collapsible stroller or push-chair.
- Children ticketed 50% or more of adult’s rate are allowed to bring standard baggage allowance.
Other items of hand baggage for children can be brought onboard:
- Booster seat or other infant seat
- Bassinet

What medical equipment can be brought in flights as Delta Air Lines special baggage?

- Passengers can bring breathing apparatus used in emergency rescue unites as a checked baggage which does not exceed 150lbs (68kg). Passengers should order the service 24hours in advance.
- Passengers can also bring needles/syringes in flights. The items will be carried in hand baggage, provided that theyare accompanied with medication with a printed label identifying the medication, manufacturer’s name and/or pharmaceutical label.
- Medical equipment are transported as as extra items at no additional charge.
- If the equipment is put in a larger bag that contains other non-essential items, that bag will be subject to normal baggage fees.

Yes. Musical instruments can be transported as checked baggage, hand baggage or cabin baggage on Delta and Delta Connection flights.
- Musical instruments can be carried as checked baggage if the sum of three dimensions does not exceed 150 inches (381 cm), and not exceed 165lbs (75 kg).
- Such small musical instruments such as guitars and violins are accepted as hand baggage. They will be put in the overhead bin.
- Passenger can buy a ticket for the musical instrument if it is fragile to be carried as checked baggage, with the following restrictions:
• not exceed 165 lbs (75 kg)
• be packaged or covered in a way to avoid injury to other passengers
• be properly secured by a seatbelt to avoid shifting during flight
• not restrict access to, or use of, any required emergency or regular exits or aisle of the cabin
• not obscure any passenger's view of seatbelt, no smoking or exit signs
• not contain dangerous goods
• be secured in a seat in the same cabin as the owner and preferably next to the owner

Yes. Delta will carry perishable items (fresh or frozen foods, fruits, and vegetables; meats, fish, poultry, or bakery products; flowers of varying sorts including cut flowers, floral displays, and vegetable plants) as hand baggage allowance. These items must not violateagricultural restrictions for the destination country.
If any perishable do not fit the standard of size and weight of hand bagggage, they will be transported as checked baggage allowance. Delta is not responsible for any perishable item that spoils or goes bad during its journey in cargo.

How to carry antlers in Delta Air Lines flights?

The fee to have antlers transported by Delta is150 USD/CAD for travel to all regions (excluding Brazil, Europe, and North Africa); or 150 USD, 175 CAD, or 125 EUR for travel to/from Europe or North Africa; or 100 USD for travel to/from Brazil.
Antlers must be removed all residue. The skull must be wrapped and the tips protected. The sum of three dimensions does not exceed 115inches (292cm). The weight does not exceed 100lbs (45kg). Antlers will be accepted on Delta Connection flights only if space is available.

How does it cost to carry a bicycle in Delta Airlines?

Passengers can bring bicycles in Delta Air Lines as checked baggage. The following excess baggage fees might be applied when the sum of three dimensions must not exceed 115 inches (292 cm) - no oversized fees apply. Bicycles over 70 lbs (32kg) will be charged the applicable excess weight fee. Bicycles over 100 lbs will not be accepted.

Will Delta Airline carry boogie boards?

Yes. Delta will transport boogie boards in all flights with fee applied.Boogie boards smaller than or equal to 43 inches (107 cm) will be accepted as part of the regular baggage allowance. Passenger must be packaged in an appropriate boogie board bag/case.
