All alcohol or liqour bought after passing the security checked point is allowed to bring onboard in hand baggage or checked baggage, provided that it must obey the following criteria:
- Alcohol content does not exceed 70% (140 proof)
- Each passenger can bring up to 05 liters of alcohol with the content from 24% - 70% (48 – 140 proof)
- Alcohol with the content under 24% (48 proof) is allowed to bring onboard.
- Alcohol and liquor must be in its original unopened retail packaging.
- Alcohol purchased before going through the security checkpoint may be seized, or passenger can be fined, according to the regulation on security of hand baggae and checked baggage.

According to Delta’s regulations, parts of vehicle can be transported as checked baggage or hand baggage, provided that they do not contain gas and oil... Parts of engine will be put in checked baggage if they are still packed in their original box, and do not contain hazardous chemicals such as gasoline or oil. Some cases are not allowed to bring onboard:

- Shock absorbers protected by compressed gas will not be transported as checked baggage. The part of vehicle will not be transported as a checked baggage even not sealed with compressed gas, if they contain a residue of gasoline or oil.
- Car batteries and Vehicle airbags are banned in both hand and checked baggage, according to the regulation of FAA.

If you are not sure about removing all hazmat residue or vapors, you are highly recommended to have the automotive parts transported via shipping service.
In case, the parts are allowed to bring onboard; but during the screening process, it triggers an alarm, it will be screened again, and may not be brought onboard if not having the allowance of the TSA.
+ Can I bring ice in flights of DELTA?

Checked baggage

You are allowed to bring dry-ice packages of no more than 5.5lbs (2.5kg). These ice packages are used to cool allowed perishables in hand or checked baggage. Yet, there are some restrictions:

- The packages must meet the standard of hand baggage restrictions.
- They can allow the release of carbon dioxide.
- “Dry Ice” or “Carbon Dioxide Solid” must be stated on the package.
- The net weight of the dry ice package must be specified.
- The contents are cooled by dry ice package must be written on the package.

Delta Air Lines recommends that you should use gel packs or similar products to keep frozen perishable items fresh.

Wet ice is not allowed to carry as hand baggage, checked baggage or cargo on Delta or Delta Connection flights.
