What are the safety issues for Emirates hand baggage?
Hand baggage
All cabin baggage must be of a size fitting under the seat in front of each passenger or in one of the overhead lockers on the plane. The placement of bags, briefcases, or other items behind legs of passengers is not allowed, and cabin baggage does not impede aisles or emergency exits, as this is forbidden by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Of relative importance is weight limit, which helps minimize limit of the risk of injury to passengers, and avoid a bag falling from an overhead locker.
For safe reasons, Emirates policy does not carry any baggage on passenger seats. Only musical instruments, diplomatic bags, and valuable items may be carried in this manner.
