What to do in case my baggage in Emrirates flights is delayed?
Mishandled baggage
If you are not possible to find your baggage at the baggage terminal, you should go to the baggage services desk at the airport for the help at once. This is often found in the customs hall near the baggage claim area.
You need to fill in a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) at the baggage services desk, which will hold a unique reference number so that we can use to track your baggage. Then you are possible to use your reference number to check your baggage status.
You should provide as much information about your baggage as possible in the report, including the color, brand, and any identifying marks. If you already left the airport without filling out a report, please contact the airline as soon as possible. When we receive your baggage, we will contact you to arrange a delivery time, depend on approval by customs.

Can I know the baggage policy when I fly with Emirates and connect with other airlines?
Checked baggage
Emirates advises you to check the baggage rules and policy of each airline when you plan to travel with.
If your flight starts with another airline that connects with a flight of Emirates, please contact that airline for asking their policy on the through-checking of baggage rules.
If your route includes flights operated by other airlines, not Emirates, baggage rules may apply differently for these flights.
It depends on how their tickets were bought and available systems at the airport, passengers flying on Emirates and connecting to another airline may or may not have their baggage checked through for their flights. Please check carefully with local Emirates office.
Where the through-checking of baggage is unavailable between Emirates and the other airlines, please make sure that enough time is permitted between the arrival at the airport, baggage collection, immigration clearance and customs, and check-in for the onward flight, as well as any potential delay, in order avoid the inconvenience and costs of a missed flight.
