+ Successfully awarded an upgrade, but MH canceled flight. Will I receive a refund for my upgrade?

Malaysia Airlines will make all attempt to re-accommodate passengers with their upgrade on the next available flight. If passengers are not re-accommodated, they can require for a refund within 3 months of the flight’s departure date.
+ Bank issuing credit card issuing charged my card, why I have not received any acceptance confirmation from Malaysia Airlines?

The advice from credit card issuing bank is the process of authorization of credit card where the amount has been set aside. This does not amount to acceptance by MAS of the Upgrade Offer or that the amount has been debited from the credit card. The final acceptance of Upgrade Offer is confirmed and payment is debited from Passenger’s nominated credit card when:
(a) Passenger receives an Upgrade Offer acceptance email; and
(b) A new e-ticket with upgraded class is issued to each passenger included in Passenger’s original flight booking.
+ Am I entitled to the benefits of my upgraded cabin class with MH Airlines?

Only celebratory cakes will be served to you in the upgraded class. Seat selection will no longer be valid and MHgourmet will not be served in the upgraded class. However, these are subject to terms and conditions of the original purchase.

+ What is regulation of Malaysia Airlines hand baggage?

Hand baggage

For the safety and comfort of passengers, appended below is the hand baggage limitation on Malaysia Airlines services:
- First Class and Business Class Passengers can bring 2 pieces and Economy Class Passengers can bring 1 piece. Each cabin baggage must not weigh more than 7 kg and has sum of three dimensions shall not exceed 115 cm (55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm) or (22 x 14 x 10 inches).
- Infants: one bag with maximum dimension of 115 cm (45inch), which may be carried as cabin baggage and one fully collapsible baby pushchair or stroller or carrying basket. The weight of the allowed items may not exceed 05 kg (11lbs) in total.

Cabin baggage exceeding the dimension and weight or the number allowed, must be checked as check-in baggage.

Allowed items in hand baggage:
Passengers are recommended to take anything that may need on the flight, including medication and keys. All medication should have a professional pharmaceutical label on the container if you are transporting medication in your carry-on luggage. If you require a medical syringe, you must have the needle guard intact.

In addition to your carry-on baggage, the following personal items are also allowed as cabin baggage:
• A handbag, pocket book or purse
• A briefcase
• An overcoat, wrap or blanket
• Electronic equipment such as a laptop, tablet and camera
• A small camera or a pair of binoculars
• A reasonable amount of reading material for the flight
• An infant carry cot
• Food for infants and children for consumption in-flight
• Fully collapsible baby stroller (on wide body aircraft only)
• Walking stick/canes or crutches and/or braces/prosthetic devices, which the passenger is dependent on

Hang baggage must place underneath the seat in front of the passenger or in the overhead compartment. Please note that such items as knives, nail clippers, blades, or any sharp and/or pointed objects must be put and packed in checked baggage. Passengers wil be recognized at electronic devices at the security checkpoint if bring them in hand baggage.
