There is no airport in Hoi An. Therefore, if you want to travel from Ho Chi Minh to Hoi An, you need to take flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang City and take taxi or hug-driver (xe ôm) to go to Hoi An. As Da Nang is so near Hoi An (just about 20km), then you can enjoy beautiful view of Da Nang before traveling to Hoi An.

There is no direct flight from Da Nang to Phu Quoc and return. You can book the flight via Ho Chi Minh.
