Then, they will choose seat by click on any available seat from that map.Next, select the “Next Flight” button at the bottom of the page. The seat map for that flight segment will then display.Click on any available seat from this seat map.Continue until all flight segments have seat assignments and then select the “Submit” button.

Yes, if passengers have a flight segment in marketed by American Airlines and operated by British Airways and they have already bought ticket, they can book a pre-reserved seat on British Airways. At this time, pre-reserved seats are available for purchased revenue tickets only, and may not be reserved on AAdvantage Award or AAirpass tickets.

In case, passengers cannot reserve a seat then buying ticket, or there are no available seats to choose, passengers can assign seat at check-in. Passengers can check in 24 hours before scheduled departure time.

Yes. If there are seats available, passengers can get seat assignments when booking. In case, there are no adjacent seats available when booking, the airline will try to arrange suitable seats to bring passengers with the most comfort.

Passengers can log in with their AAdvantage number and password, or with their email address as the same as their AAdvantage account. If customers want to log in with alternate feature, their email address must be unique.

At this time passengers cannot use miles to extend their hold and this option does not apply to any award AirPass itineraries.

Yes. Passengers can use different cards to buy tickets and pay for extended hold fee on aircraft of American Airlines. Yet, customers should use cards issued in the same country, if not, the ticket will be re-priced regarding to specific card.

A fare gap (difference) is the difference between the fare bought and the fare for new flight booked. Meanwhile, a change fee is the amount of money that customers pay to change their flight, or change nonrefundable reservation. Fare differences may be applied when combined travels require no change fees.

With the same-day flight change, customers can book a seat on different flight on their departure date on any flight of American Airlines and/or American Eagle, as long as there are available seats on that flight. Customers can make a reservation to change or handle the transaction at the airport. Customers have to request the same itinerary and confirm within 12 hours of flight changed.

Yes. Customers can change a Preferred Seat up to the boarding pass cut-off time on the official site of AA or at check-in kiosks at the airport.
