Customers can buy Award Miles online by connecting to their Flying Blue account. In addition, they can buy miles via phone. If they do not have enough miles to book flight or another award miles, they can reserve during the same phone call.

- The first and second bags are free for passengers asAAdvantage Platinum, oneworld Sapphire members, and Alaska Airlines MVP Gold in flights to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Japan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, South Korea, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

- The first, second, and third bags are free for passengers as Confirmed First and Business Class customers, AAdvantage Executive Platinum, oneworld Emerald, Alaska Airlines MVP Gold 75K, Active U.S. military and/or dependents with ID traveling on orders (1st - 5th bags free of charge), and Active U.S. military with ID on personal travel.
