Pasengers must request a Refund application during the ticket validity, within 10 days after the expiration date or within 10 days from the booked flight's departure date for non-flexible fares. Refund application also must be made as well as for delays and cancellations due to bad weather conditions.

The Passenger Facility Charge will be refunded in the full amount if a ticket is refunded.
If a passenger is not able to fly due to illness, the ticket is refundable without a cancellation and refund charge, provided that passenger can submit a valid medical documentation.

Some fares cannot be refunded once the flight has departed or the ticket is partially used.

To receive a refund, show the ticket or the authentication code (the JMB membership number, reservation number, or credit card number you used to buy the ticket) within the effective refundable period.

• Will be using FAA-approved respirator, ventilator, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine or personal oxygen concentrator (POC) (United does not provide POCs)
• Require disassembly and/or packaging of a wheelchair battery
• Will be transporting an electric wheelchair on an aircraft with fewer than 60 seats
• Are traveling with a group of ten (10) or more people with disabilities
• Plan to travel with an emotional support or psychiatric service animal in cabin
Special meals require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice, however we appreciate as much advance notice as possible.

Check-in closes a certain amount of time before departure, and this timing varies by airport and by domestic versus international flights.

Customers may carry on board and use their own portable oxygen concentrators for all flight segments, except flights between Guam and Tokyo Narita and flights between Guam and Honolulu. The airline may request documentation from a licensed medical physician.

Liquid oxygen is prohibited on United plane, unless it can be verified that the liquid oxygen unit is empty by way of a gauge or color indicator. An empty unit can be transported so long as the valve remains open for the duration of the flight.

Advance planning is required to make oxygen arrangements when traveling. United accepts requests for in-flight therapeutic oxygen anytime after the reservation is made at least 48 hours prior to flights. Contact the airline for further detailed information.
+ Is there a safety personal assistant service United Airlines in flights?

Yes. The personal safety assistant will help a disabled passenger exiting the aircraft in case of an emergency or to establish communication for the required safety briefing. The personal safety assistant can also assist with the medical, feeding and lavatory needs.

A disabled passenger can order the service, if they:
• Are unable to understand and respond to safety instructions from the flight crew, including the safety briefing
• Have both severe hearing and severe vision impairments and cannot establish some means of communication with our personnel
• Are unable to physically assist in their evacuation of the aircraft
• Must saty on a stretcher or in incubator (for United Micronesia-flights only)
+ Are there customer-provided ventilators, respirators and CPAP machines in UA flights?

Portable electronic personal ventilators, respirators and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines may be carried and used on board United flights if it can be verified by a manufacturers’ label or otherwise that the units meet applicable FAA requirements. A forty-eight (48) hour minimum advance notification is required for customers using a ventilator, respirator or CPAP machine on board.

Yes. Any woman are having pregnancy for 8 months will be allowed to travel on a United flight without medical documentation. A woman traveling during her ninth month of pregnancy must have the original and two copies of an obstetrician’s certificate, which must be issued within three days (72 hours) prior to the departure. Geting the certificate within one day of flight departure is the best way.
