It takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes to travel on Vietnam Airline from Hanoi to Bangkok. Yet, the time is calculated from when the aircraft takes off to landing. The total of time traveling on the airline from Hanoi to Bangkok includes the flying time (1 hour and 50 minutes) + check-in time at airports + and time of traveling to airports (if passenger stays far from the airport).

Domestic flights Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi to other cities include:

Dien Bien, Dong Hoi, Hue, Da Nang, Tam Ky, Pleiku, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Nha Trang, Dalat, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, and Buon Ma Thuot.

VN Airline is exploiting the following domestic routes from Ho Chi Minh City:

HCMC – Hanoi, HCMC – Haiphong, HCMC – Thanh Hoa, HCMC – Vinh, HCMC – Dong Hoi, HCMC – Hue, HCMC – Da Nang, HCMC – Pleiku, HCMC – Quy Nhon, HCMC – Buon Ma Thuot, HCMC – Nha Trang, HCMC – Dalat, HCMC – Phu Quoc, HCMC – Rach Gia, and HCMC – Con Dao.

Currently, VNA provides 02 kinds of boarding pass: traditional boarding pass, and online boarding pass. Traditional boarding pass is used for passengers who check in at Vietnam Airlines check in counter at the airport. Meanwhile, online boarding pass is used for passengers who check in online via Internet connected devices. Passenger can print online boarding pass or receive via Internet connected devices.

“Online boarding pass” is issued by VN Airlines, provided to passengers who completed web check-in. Online boarding pass can be printed by passenger or received via email. The carrier check-in staff will check the boarding pass, stamp and certify on the boarding pass, or change online boarding pass into traditional boarding pass and allot to passenger. Passenger comes to security gate and enter waiting room.

Only when passenger can print online boarding pass or receiving boarding pass via email does the web check-in succeed. Passenger will bring the self-printed online boarding pass to get on the aircraft. In case, passenger gets troubles when printing online boarding pass, passenger should re-enter website: vietnam.checkin.sabre.com/VNWebCheckIn/WebCheckIn.html# and repeat steps and re-print the online boarding pass.

There are two options for passengers to have Vietnam Airlines boarding pass:

- Print online boarding pass by yourself: passenger can print all information of online boarding pass in an A4 sheet. In case, information of boarding pass is presented in many sheets, passenger should bring all information to the airport.

- Receive online boarding pass via email or mobile phone: passenger will receive online boarding pass via email or mobile phone, then passenger comes to the check-in counter at the airport to get traditional boarding pass.

To confirm self-printed online boarding pass of Vietnam Airlines, passenger comes to web check-in counter. Information about web check-in counter will be provided with signals at the airport with text line of “Web-Checkin counter”.

At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the Web-Checkin counter is located at Row E, next to Business class passenger check-in counter. At Noi Bai International Airport, Web-Checkin counters are counters No. 55 and 56 on the second floor of T1, and counter No. 119 at Lounge E of expanded T1.

For online boarding pass of VNA, passenger can print online boarding pass by yourself within a period from 24 hours to 02 hours before the scheduled departure time. To confirm self-printed online boarding pass, passenger must present at the web check-in counter 15 minutes before the closing time of the counter.
