Yes. If members of Vietnam Airlines GLP do not meet requirements to maintain card class, the membership tier will be relegated to lower tier equivalent to qualifying miles (or eligible flights) that were earned during the qualifying period. To maintain the tier for the next year, members of GLP need earn enough qualifying miles or eligible flights (qualifying flights) during 12 consecutive months of qualifying period.

Yes. VNA Golden Lotus member needs to fill the member card number when check in online. The award points will be added member’s account accordance with the regulations.

If passenger as Gold-tier member of GLP Vietnam Airlines buying last-minute ticket, he will be prioritized to check in before passengers with C-class ticket.

Besides, other passengers with different cards will be prioritized respectively as follows:

- Passengers with Platinum tier of VNA or Elite Plus of SKyTeam
- Passengers with Gold/Titan tier of VNA or Elite of SKyTeam
- Passengers with C-class ticket
- And other special passengers

When passenger wants to redeem miles, GLP member contact VN Airline to book for award ticket on the carriers or on other members of SkyTeam. Member fills full information in Award Request Form (booking code, and other forms, if any). Then, member will send these requirements along with copy of passport or identity card to Golden Lotus Plus program via email, fax or letter within 10 days. GLP will solve in the period of 03-07 days and send a promotion code to member via email. After that, member comes to Vietnam Airline agent and brings promotion code, original passport or identity card to get award ticket.

Yes. Member with Silver GLP card will make reservation for flight of award ticket to ensure he will have a seat in the flight. Golden Lotus Plus Center will depend on the rush hours or low hours of the flight to determine the number of deducted miles.

No. The benefit of getting award tickets for relatives is available for Gold or Platinum member cards. Member with Gold/Platinum tier has right to choose a group of 07 people to make Redemption group. Member will deduct miles in his account to get awards for people in that group.

The Redemption group can be changed or specified to be free once in a calendar year. If member changes or assign more members in the group more than once in a calendar year, he will be deducted 3,000 miles in his account for each time of change or select more members in the group.

Yes. Member with Vietnam Airline gold/platinum member can order an award ticket for infant if the member travels by award ticket. He can order an award ticket for infant under 2 years old listed in awarded group without deducted miles. The name of infant must be included in the group and member has to present certificate of birth when receiving ticket and at the airport.

Yes. Golden Lotus Plus member can get award ticket from him and his relatives for flight from Vietnam to France, or Germany, Russia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Americas, and Australia. The validity of the award ticket is 12 months since the day of ticketing.

GLP Vietnam Airlines member can redeem upgrade awards for himself or his relatives in all domestic and international flights of VNA to France, Germany, Russia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Americas, and Australia. The validity of upgrade awards is similar to paid tickets.

Yes. Excess baggage allowance awards are available for GLP member and people in the redemption groups. Yet, member of GLP can redeem awards in VNA flights. The limitation of baggage allowance awards is 30kg at most, and 10kg at least, and 10kg of the next calculated units (if weight of award excess-baggage is over 10 kgs).
