With 5 cabins, available couchettes, and a ventilated compartments which could be used as a bedroom, Mien Tay Sampan can accommodate up to 16 passengers. In terms of on-board facilities, the cruise has 1 kitchen, 3 restrooms with showers, and 1 terrace on the sun deck. You will be served by 5 crews including captain, mechanic, chef cook, sailor, and guide. With regard to activities, you can take part in many excursions to explore Mekong River. Day 1: Can Duoc – Cho Gao – My Tho – Cai Be
(Including lunch and dinner)
At 8.00 am, you will be picked up at your hotel in Saigon and transferred to Can Duoc, which is about 35 kilometers from Saigon. Upon arriving, you will embark onboard. Take time to admire beautiful sceneries as Mien Tay Sampan leisurely cruises down Mekong River. Arriving in My Tho, you can visit Thoi Son Island where you can leisurely walk, taste local fruits, observe local handicraft production, and meet local friends. Besides, you will have a sampan ride in this day through palm-shaded creeks before returning onboard for lunch. In the afternoon, Mien Tay Sampan will move towards Cai Be. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset of Mekong River in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 2: Cai Be – My Tho – Saigon
(Including breakfast and lunch)
After savoring your breakfast, you will have a great chance to explore Cai Be floating market, one of the most boisterous and finest markets on the river. In the market, you can first-hand witness the daily activities of inhabitants here and understand more about their culture. Afterwards, you will have a visit on foot in a handicraft village, go sightseeing in the old houses, and try different tropical fruits. Lunch onboard. Then, Mien Tay Sampan will set sail to My Tho for disembarkation. You will be back to Saigon. Trip ends.

In the market, you can first-hand witness the daily activities of inhabitants here and understand more about their culture. Later on, Mien Tay Sampan Cruise will move towards Vinh Long. On the arrival, you will have lunch on board, then, take a short tour around Vinh Long by bicycle or by Xe Loi, a special vehicle in this place. Back to the cruise for refreshing, later, you will be served a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Can Tho – Saigon

In this day, you have chance to visit Tra On market and Cai Rang market. Cai Rang market is one of the busiest floating markets on the river with hundreds of small boats carrying local products like tropical fruits, vegetables, etc. Later, you will be transferred to a small boat which will bring you through palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards. Returning onboard for lunch. Then, you will disembark the cruise and return to Saigon by coach. Tour ends.

Later, as going to the shore, you can take a visit in handicraft village, go sightseeing in old houses, and enjoy various tropical fruits. Back on board, you will be taken to Long Xuyen via Sa Dec. In Sa Dec town, you can take a short walk to visit the place where a famous story “Lover” written by Marguerite Duras was set. Besides, do not forget to visit a bonsai garden and the local market. Lunch on board. As Mien Tay Sampan cruises towards Long Xuyen, you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries, aperitifs, and sunset. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Day 3: Long Xuyen – Phu Quoc

In the morning, you will be awakened by the noise of the floating market. Waking up, enjoying your breakfast, then you can visit daily life of residents who live on both sides of Mekong River. You will get off the cruise at around 11.00 am. A coach/ bus will bring you to Rach Gia, then, you will be transferred by speedboat to Phu Quoc Island.
