Day 1: Cai Be – Tra On

In midday, you will embark on Mekong Melody Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink. Then, the vessel will take you to visit Cai Be floating market and handicraft villages where you can meet and talk with local people. In the village, you can go sightseeing around, see many old houses, and taste a variety of tropical fruits.

In the afternoon, upon arrival in Vinh Long, you will get off the cruise for a sightseeing tour on foot or by bike to Cu Lao Binh Hoa Phuoc before cruising sailing via Tra On and Cho Lach to Can Tho. Here, your excursion will continue in Cho Lach Village where you can visit tropical fruit orchards and witness local activities of inhabitants. On the way, you can visit a cottage industry, a local farm, and sample seasonal fruits. Day 2: Tra On – Can Tho

After enjoying your breakfast, Melody Mekong Cruise will sail along cannels and bring you to a village located on the bank of Cho Chien for sightseeing, where you will be welcomed by friendly and hospitable people. Then, the cruise will leisurely move up Bassac River. On the arrival in Can Tho, you will have a wonderful opportunity to visit Cai Rang Market, one of the most bustling markets in the Mekong Delta. Here, you can see many local boats laden local products such as tropical fruits, green vegetables, colorful flowers, etc. for sold. Besides, the vessel will cruise through palm-shaded creek where you can see local houses, green orchards, ship building yards, and local markets. At 11.00 am, you will check out and disembark. Day 1: Cai Be – My Thuan – Sa Dec

At noon, you will check in Mekong Melody Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink. Later, savor your lunch as the ship starts cruising to Cai Thia. In the afternoon, disembarking the ship, you will attend in a cycling excursion on the bank of a peninsula where you can see verdant villages, visit its gardens and orchards, its local houses and meet local people. Afterwards, you can visit Cao Dai Temple along the way to My Thuan. Returning on the cruise, you will be taken to Sa Dec, a beautiful and peaceful town. As reaching to Sa Dec Town, you can visit Sa Dec food market and a primary school headed by Marguerite Duras. This is a very great chance for you to take a walk around the village and admire the typically rural sceneries of Vietnam such as rice fields, vegetable farms, fish farms, etc. Later, get back to Mekong Melody for a downstream cruise. Day 2: Cai Thia – Vinh Long – Tra On

After breakfast, Mekong Melody Cruise will bring you to Binh Hoa Phuoc Island where you can take a stroll through islets, taste native tropical fruits, see handicraft production, and meet local people. Getting on a local boat, this is a great chance for you to visit Cai Be, one of the most beautiful and busiest markets in Mekong Delta. You can take a short walk along canals and palm-shaded creek to see local houses, green orchards, ship building yards, and rural and daily activities. Returning on board with a welcome-back drink. At 11.00 am, you will disembark.

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Cai Be

Embark Mekong Melody Cruise at noon (around 11.00 am), then you will be catered a welcome drink. Let’s enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Mekong River as the vessel cruise down the river. Lunch served on board. Upon arriving in Cho Gao, you can take a visit in a local market. Back on board for cruise to My Tho. Later, disembarking the ship again, you will visit Thoi Son Island, take a stroll around the island, try tropical fruits, observe handicraft production, and meet local people. A local sampan awaits you to get on. It will cruise through palm-shaded creek. Back on Mekong Melody, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 2: Cai Be – Vinh Long – Sa Dec

At 6.30 am, breakfast is available. In the mid-morning, you will be transferred to a local boat for a sightseeing tour in Cai Be floating market. Old colonial time buildings await you to visit onshore. Re-embarking at noon, let’s enjoy your welcome-back drink. Mekong Melody Cruise will depart from Cai Be to Binh Hoa Phuoc Island. After enjoying your lunch, you will get on the local boat again. It will take you to visit gardens and orchards on the bank of the peninsula. Back on board, refreshment is waiting for you. Day 3: Sa Dec – Mang Thit – Tra On

After breakfast, you will have a great chance to visit a town of Sa Dec. At noon, you will return to the vessel for a welcome back drink and a lunch. This time, as Mekong Melody Cruise will go downstream Tien Giang River towards Vinh Long, you can relax on the sundeck and enjoy the open bar. Day 4: Tra On – Cai Rang – Rach Ngong – Can Tho

Breakfast will be served as the ship cruise Tra On floating market. Then, Mekong Melody will depart towards Can Tho. As arrival in Cai Rang floating market, you will check out and get on a local boat to visit the market, nearby arroyos, and gardesn. Afterwards, you will return to Ninh Kieu Pier at noon.

Day 2: Sa Dec – Lap Vo – Long Xuyen

In this day, after breakfast, you will visit Sa Dec local market and follow the tracks of a famous French novelist, Marguerite Duras. It may be a beautiful moment when you walk along the blossoming flower village. Then, take time to visit local industries, bricks, and tiles kilns and the manufacture of earthenware pots on riverbank.

Back to the ship, let’s enjoy a welcome back drink and delicious lunch. Enjoy the beautiful sceneries as Mekong Melody Cruise set sails through canals of Lapvo. You can also enjoy the traditional herbal foot massage on boat. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 3: Long Xuyen – Can Tho

After breakfast, you can discover Long Xuyen market where hundreds of local boats selling local products. Then, you will visit Cu Lao Ong Ho and take a sightseeing tour on foot or by bike to visit villages of the island. Here, you can witness farmers trading their goods on water as they have done for centuries. In addition, this is a unique opportunity to discover life and culture of Mekong River Delta.

Later, return on board and enjoy a welcome back drink. Savor your lunch as the cruise sets sail downstream. Day 4: Can Tho – Tra On
