Landmark 81 – the highest building in Vietnam

On December 13th, an 81-storey skyscraper named The Landmark 81, which belongs to luxury urban area Vinhomes Central Park was started construction by Vingroup. It is expected that this highest building in Vietnam will be inaugurated in 2017.

The Landmark 81 is the highest skyscraper in Vietnam until now. The building belongs to the most modern and luxurious Vietnam urban area - Vinhomes Central Park invested by Vingroup. The Landmark 81 is located in the campus of old Tan Cang, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Vinhomes Central Park is considered as a "miniature green city" having the total area of 43.91 hectares with the building density of approximately 16%. Vinhomes Central Park has the space of a green park up to 14 hectares and a facade stretching more than 1 kilometers on the banks of Saigon River. It is divided into different subdivisions involving luxury apartments and villas, office spaces for rent, serviced apartments, commercial centers, and other utilities. In Vinhomes Central Park, villas and apartments here are the most modern and luxurious in Vietnam. They are constructed following the world - class standards. In addition to owning the highest skyscraper in Vietnam, Vinhomes Central Park is the first urban area having marina inside.

 

The Landmark 81 in future

 

The Landmark 81 invested by Vingroup has the expected height of over 350 meters including 81 floors. The building is being constructed in the heart of Vinhomes Central Park, next to the banks of Saigon River. This is a magnificent architecture with the total floor area of 141,000 square meters consisting of hotels, serviced apartments, Oficetel commercial apartments, shopping centers, bars, restaurants, observation decks, and so forth. A 5 star hotel Vinpearl has approximately 450 rooms with a very splendid presidential suite. Besides, Vinhomes also has a system of 900 luxury serviced apartments and Oficetel commercial apartments, in which there are 5-star and 6-star serviced apartments, which has the space of 400 square meters and provides 1800 view. Restaurant and Sky Bar are situated at the 66th and 67th floor with panoramic view. They will become one of the world's most luxurious and attractive bars and restaurants. Observation deck is located in the 79th floor with panoramic view overlooking Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding areas. At the foot of The Landmark 81 is shopping center Vincom with the space of 59,000 square meters. This is a sumptuous shopping center. A large square with a system of modern fountain will connect the urban landscape with green park and Saigon River.

The structural design of The Landmark 81 is implemented by Arup - one of the world leading enterprises which are famous for designing magnificent architectures such as Opera Sydney or Centre Pompidou (Paris). Interior will be designed by luxurious brands such as Versa, Armani, etc.

Being known as the heart of Vinhomes Central, The Landmark 81 can conveniently connects functional works with luxury apartments creating appeals for the entire central area of projects. This is a "wonder of new living space" in Ho Chi Minh City. Under the plan, The Landmark 81 is expected to open at the end of 2017.
