Daily Meal has recently published a list of 101 best restaurants in Asia 2014. Accordingly, there are 8 Vietnam restaurants having presence in the list. These restaurants are highly appreciated for its excellent quality and professional service manners.

Daily Meal is a well-known newspapers which receives the world's greatest hit. Recently, this website has issued its second annual list to name 101 excellent restaurants in Asia, in which there are 8 Vietnamese restaurants were listed. To draw up the list, Daily Meal called upon more than 50 experts who frequently live, work, or spend time there. These experts include restaurant critics, bloggers, and lifestyle writers with wide restaurant-going experiences. Initially, the list consists of 202 restaurants from 12 Asian countries nominated by Daily Meal's respondents. Later on, experts will depend on some criteria including freshness, innovative menu options, quality, taste, interior design, dining room ambiance, price, and services to pick up the most excellent ones. Daily Meal also informed that they offered choices in 28 cities involving not only major capitals like Seoul, Beijing, Tokyo, Taipei, etc. but also small cities such as Da Nang (Vietnam), Unawatuna (Sri Lanka), and Taichung (Taiwan). 8 restaurants in Vietnam named in the list including Don's, Hoi An, Mandarine, Restaurant Bobby Chinn, La Maison 1888, La Villa French Restaurant, Nha Hang Ngon, and LemonGrass.

No. 97: Don's Bistro (Hanoi)
