In the community of K’ Ho ethnic minority in Lam Dong Province, tourists coming here will have a chance to experience the process of planting, harvesting, and enjoy the drink and explore the culture of K’Ho.

A Coffee Story

The coffee farm of K’Ho Community is located at the bottom of Lang Biang Mountain, about 1700 meters above sea level. The Families of Rolan Co Lieng have been living here for hundreds of years and plant coffee over generations. Thus, Rolan Co Lieng is interested in coffee and eager to change the development of traditional coffee which is increasingly faded due to low effects. Joshua is Mrs. Roland’s husband as well as an American agricultural engineer; he knows how to upgrade to the type of coffee, to bring back the best taste of Vietnam coffee.

The planted coffee is Arabica, which is suitable to the climate in Lang Biang. The coffee type accounts for most of the world's exports. When sipping a little coffee you can taste the flavor of balance between caramel and almond, not the flavor of a strong and bitter coffee in almost all cafes in Vietnam. Coffee is harvested by hands to make sure of the best qualification. Currently, K’Ho Coffee is cultivating specialty coffee lines of the world to grow and replicate.

Tourists coming to the coffee farm will be guided to visit the farm, from coffee hills, class houses, and drying houses, to coffee cup manufacture. It is more interesting that besides drinking coffee, guests can have chats with the owner of the K’Ho Coffee shop to discover more about how the coffee is made.
