According to the Immigration regulations at airports in Japan, India and Malaysia; also the latest situation of COVID-19 preventions to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2; in order to provide with passengers updated information to get on Vietjet flights to Japan, India and Malaysia smoothly, the airline has announced Regulations on Entry to Japan, India and Malaysia, applied to travellers who used to visit/transit to countries having Covid-19 outbreaks.
Following is information in details:
The regulation is effective from March 09, 2020 (Japan time zone):
The regulation is effective from March 07, 2020 (Japan time zone): Foreigners travelling to Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsang, Angong, Yeongcheon, Chilgok, Uiseong, Seongju and Gunwi in South Korea within 14 days before coming to Japan are not allowed to enter Japan.
The regulation is effective from March 09, 2020 (Japan time zone):
Foreigners travelling to the states of Ghom, Tehran and Gilan within 14 days before visiting Japan are not allowed to enter Japan.
Temporarily suspend to issue normal visa/ e-visa for Chinese citizens before February 05, 2020:
The regulation is effective from 00:00 March 10, 2020: Passengers traveling from and visiting Italy or South Korea will have to show test papers of negative results with COVID-19 issued by hospitals designated by the competent health authority in that country. The regulation is effective from 00:00 March 10, 2020 until the decrease of COVID-19 outbreak.
The regulation is effective from March 07, 2020: All countries’ citizens (except citizens of Malaysia or permanent residence card) with history of traveling to below areas within 14 days are not allowed to enter or transit to Malaysia:
