1. General information

Being a civil airport, located in the southwestern coast of Kien Giang Province, Rach Gia Airport was used for military operations. It also contributes significantly to the development of tourism in Kien Giang. At present, Rach Gia airport is operating under the management of Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam and is officially exploited and used as a civil airport of Kien Giang province with the expanded scale and improved services.
