While, Economy class can bring one piece of 7kg hand bag with dimensions of 36 x 56 x 23 cm. Beside main hand baggage, passenger can bring a laptop bag or a similar size item. Malindo Air checked baggage allowance differs from routes and classes. For both domestic and international flights, Business class passenger can bring 40kg, Economy class can bring from 15kg to 35kg, depending on routes. Any excess baggage will be charged fee at the airport. Or, passenger can buy prepaid baggage in advance. 

Malindo Air check in service

There are three options for service of check in Malindo Air: web check-in, counter check-in, and kiosk check-in. Passengers can do online check in Malindo Air to save time at the airport. Passenger can do online check in within 48 hours to 4 hours prior to the departure time. If passengers check in at the counter, they will be supported directly by the staff. Here is the check in time at main airports in Malaysia:

Kuala Lumpur International Airport  

- Counter will be closed 1 hour (60 minutes) before standard time of departure 
- Boarding gate will be closed 15 minutes before standard time of departure
- Boarding gate will be closed 20 minutes before standard time of departure for Turkish Airlines operated flights.

Subang Skypark Airport

- Check-in will commence 3 hours before departure and will be closed 30 minutes before standard time of departure
- Boarding gate will be closed 10 minutes before standard time of departure

KL Sentral Check-in (KLIA Express Train)

If you're using the KLIA Express train service, you can check in at Malindo Air check-in counter located inside the KL Sentral station. You may also check in your bags.

Availability: Minimum 2 hours before departure for international flights, 1.5 hours for domestic flights without checked baggage.
