On March 28, 2015, at Van Ho Exhibition Center (Hanoi) will be the venue of German Festival. The event is expected to have various and exciting activities. The festival is hosted by German Embassy in coordination with Goethe-Institut Hanoi, along with the participation of German units and companies in Vietnam. This is one of the most exciting international festivals in Hanoi, appealing a large number of youth. At this festival, visitors have opportunities to learn more about the 40-year bilateral relation between Vietnam and Germany. In addition, visitors have a chance to join a free German course, try German food and drinks, and participate in other interesting activities such as German music show, exhibition, and cuisine. Among these activities, the most exciting one is the music show of Raggabund Band from Germany.
The Raggabund Band, representing for a modern and multi-cultural Germany, will bring vibrant atmosphere to the festival with various performance styles, from exciting Dancehall Reggae, Latin, and Hip Hop to mellow ballads. Artists will sing songs in Spanish, German, or English about life, love, social justice and tolerance. The youthful music band will change many music styles during their performances. The program is a series of events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Germany relation with many activities about exchanging economic, cultural and people held in 2015. Thereby, German Festival in Hanoi will contribute greatly to improve the awareness and relationship between two peoples, creating a solid foundation for the stable development of Vietnam - Germany strategic relation and enhance multi-side cooperation. In the evening, it is the time for wonderful music shows of Raggabund Band. On March 28, the music band will arrive in Hanoi. The band represents for a colorful and multi-cultural Germany. The music band will perform at three big cities of Vietnam, Hanoi Ho Chi Minh City, and Haiphong in this March.
Over the last time, the bilateral cooperation between two countries bring outstanding achievements such as Vietnam-Germany University, Vietnam National Assembly Hall which is designed in German style, and German House is going to be built in Ho Chi Minh City. At present, there are about 120 Vietnamese people in Germany. They are messengers promulgating the image of Vietnam and people, are bridges to improve the bilateral relation. Along with the program, there are other actvities of exchanges, economic cooperations, cultural and people exchange. This opportunity will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various aspects, improving the understanding and intertwining between the two countries, creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership. It is expected that in the years coming, the event will become one of famous, exciting and large-scale festivals in Vietnam.
