Da Nang Fireworks Festival ready for booming

The theme of Da Nang Fireworks Festival 2015 is “Da Nang - Symphony of Colors”. According to plan, each team participating in the Da Nang International Fireworks Competition will have 20-22 minutes to perform.

Da Nang People's Committee officially released the time of Da Nang Fireworks Festival 2015 – one of the most outstanding and important international festivals in Vietnam. The festival will take place on April 28 and 29, 2015. The early decision of festival's schedule of Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 will create favorable conditions for preparation of the organizer as well as of travel agents and tourists. It also facilitates suppliers of accommodation services and others in the beach city. Especially, the system of hotels and resorts in Da Nang will have an active preparation in their business. It is because the overcrowded situation always happens during this festival. In addition, tourists will actively make plans for their vacation, and arrange work to enjoy their Da Nang travel in the most suitable period. Although the festival just takes place in two days, tourists, especially domestic tourists will stay longer, as the time of festival is at the same time with the anniversary of Vietnam Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1). Therefore, apart from Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the city will have many attractive supporting program to serve tourists.

Team Italy in DIFC 2013

There are 6 fireworks festivals in Da Nang having held. In this 7th competition, the organizers announced that there was 26 billion dong from 40 sponsors in this Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2015. The topic of Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 is "Da Nang - Symphony of Colors". The festival is held in two days of April 28 and 29. Teams of South Africa, Da Nang (Vietnam) perform on April 28, while teams of Poland and Australia show on April 29. In the framework of this festival, there are other supporting activities such as culinary exchange, art lighting decoration, boat of flowers parade, performing and organizing water sports activities, music program and fashion shows... In these 5 teams, there are two teams considered unknowns, they are teams of South Africa and Poland. The two teams have participated in many international competitions, and gained many achievements. However, it is first time that they are participating in the fireworks competition. In addition, the remaining teams are very strong teams which have participated in many fireworks festivals around the world and left great impressions at the Fireworks Festival in Da Nang in previous competitions.

Team Russia in Da Nang International Fireworks Competition

This is one of the most famous festivals in Da Nang which appealing hundreds of thousands people to join. Thus, the festival also plays an important part in developing Da Nang tourism. The new thing in Da Nang International Firework Competition 2015 is that the event will be promulgated on international channels such as Star World, National Geographic and BBC World in Asia. Up until now, there are 15 countries participating in the festival. In 2008, the competition attracted 30,000 fireworks viewers. In 2013, the figure increased to 400,000. The scaffolds of A and B at the main stage have the ability to occupy about 7,650 people per night. Meanwhile, the C scaffold in the north has the occupation of about 14,350 seat per night. It is expected that, the organizers will sell about 10,300 tickets per night at scaffolds of B3, B4, and C1. The ticket prices for each scaffolds are 500,000 - 400,000 - 300,000 per seat/night respectively. At the conference of organizing Da Nang International Fireworks Competition, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho - Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee suggested press agencies to support information for the competition, and called for companion of businesses.

Da Nang International Fireworks Competition

Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee has issued the plan to hold an international fireworks competition in Da Nang in 2015. According to the plan, in case of necessity, the organizer of competition can mobilize funding from foreign firms. The city also requires organizational units to actively build and deploy sponsored advocacy work for Da Nang Fireworks Fund to ensure the time which is appropriate to the businesses' plan 2015, and to facilitate fund raising from sponsors. Besides, the organizer also focuses on mobilizing from businesses in Da Nang and in the country and holding meetings for city's leaders to meet and mobilize from donors. In addition, leaders of the city chose units which have good relationships with the city of Da Nang based in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to participate in sponsoring the competition.
