Each passenger can bring 01 set of golf equipment.
On American routes: Transportation is free of charge when the baggage including golf equipment is no more than the free baggage allowance. 1 golf bag is free after the limits for free baggage weight has been met. An excess baggage charge per piece is applied to golf equipment beyond the set of free golf equipment allowed. When golf equipment exceeds 23kg, an excess baggage charge based on the weight is applied.

Snow / Water Skiing, Snowboarding and Surfboarding Equipment must be kept in its proper carrying containers.
Each passenger can bring one set of equipment:
- One set of skis, ski poles and ski boots
- One set of standard water skis
- One set of Slalom water skis
- One snowboard and a pair of boots
- One surfboard

Does Asiana Airline accept to transport other different sports equipment?
Special baggage
Yes. Each passenger can bring:
- One set of wind surfing equipment consists of a board, a boom, a mast and a sail.
- One set of scuba equipment: An empty scuba tank, a respirator, a harness, a gauge and a mask.
- A bicycle: the handles must be fixed, pedals must be removed and the bicycle shall be properly packed. High-value bicycles should be packed with extra care to prevent damage. Motored bicycles with engines, motorcycles and jet skis are not allowed to be transported as checked baggage.
- Other Sports Equipment (Bowling, Archery and Fishing Equipment).
- One set of wind surfing equipment consists of a board, a boom, a mast and a sail.
- One set of scuba equipment: An empty scuba tank, a respirator, a harness, a gauge and a mask.

When transferring baggage from Asiana Airlines international flights to domestic flights in Korea?

- When reaching Incheon International Airport (international flights) and transferring to domestic flights at Incheon International Airport
- When reaching the Incheon International Airport (international flights) and transferring to domestic flights at the Gimpo Airport

- Passengers reaching Korea on an international flight shall claim the baggage at the first destination in Korea and be subject to the customs check in accordance with the customs regulations of Korea.
- After completing the customs report, come to the arrivals area, and carry the baggage to the check-in desk for domestic flights.
- Passengers arriving at Incheon International Airport on an international flight and transferring to a flight to Busan shall claim the baggage in Busan, the final destination, and clear customs.

What is information on Asiana Airlines baggage compensation liability?
Mishandled baggage
- For flights where Warsaw Convention is applied, the limit of the liability of Asiana Airlines for checked baggage is 250 France Gold Francs or the equivalent amount (approximately USD 20.00) per kg. The limit of the liability of Asiana Airlines for checked baggage is 1,131SDR per passenger if the Montreal Convention is applicable.
- The limit of the responsibility of Asiana Airlines based on the declared value when a passenger has reported a higher value and paid the valuation charge in advance.
- In the case of damaged baggage, passengers entitled to the delivery must complain to the carrier the in writing within 7 days from the date of delivery. If the baggage is lost or its delivery is delayed, passengers must report the fact to the airline in writing within 21 days from the date of check-in of the baggage.
- The limit of the responsibility of Asiana Airlines based on the declared value when a passenger has reported a higher value and paid the valuation charge in advance.

- Damage to locks during the security check procedure and damage to films made during the x-ray check
- Minor scratches, wear, dents, cracks and stains etc. that are the result of normal baggage handling work
- Goods for which transportation as checked baggage is prohibited as follows, and which shall be transported as carry-on baggage

+ Health-Related Medicines
+ Valuable personal electronic devices including laptops, cell phones, cameras, camcorders and MP3 players or data
