You need to bring the birth certificate or household register of each infant and then provide check in counter at the airport with their certification details.

You need to know that different routes and airports maybe have different check-in deadlines. Normally, the check-in closing time is 30 minutes prior to departure time, but in some airports, the check-in closing time is 45 minutes or one hour before departure time. It is suggested you should check the relevant information before flying so as to leave suitable time for check-in. Please ask the local airport for any questions.

You can receive the boarding pass by printing at the airport, self-service kiosk or website; to check in your baggage, you should go to the check-in counter before the deadline of the flight. However, the deadline may differ in various regions, please check the local departure airport for more details. Passengers with traditional paper tickets are requested to arrive at the airport service counter.

If you do not need to check in baggage, you only need to bring along your valid documentation and self-printed boarding pass to pass through the security checkpoint; otherwise, you need have to check in baggage at the baggage check-in counter.

Please bring valid documentations for check-in as your passport, visa, tickets and travel documents, etc. Passengers with Chinese nationality, who are flying to Taiwan, should present an EXIT & ENTRY PERMIT FOR TRAVELING TO AND FROM TAIWAN and an EXIT & ENTRY PERMIT for Taiwan when checking-in at the airport. Passenger’s passports, visas and travel documents should not be placed in checked baggage, but kept upon the passenger's person as hand baggage. China Southern Airlines shall not be responsible for any loss caused by invalid or missing travel documents.

Passengers who need to be supported special services or need to be verified with additional certification, such as children, infants, disabled veterans, police officers, important passengers, pregnant women, unaccompanied elderly passengers, passengers who have requested a special menu, passengers with sensory impairments (blind, deaf), passengers with a stretcher or wheelchair, passengers with mental or physical disabilities, criminals and prisoners cannot apply for online check-in at the present time. No. you cannot, as the kiosk is provided and operated by China Southern Airlines for passengers to check in by themselves at the airport. Presently it does not allow for buying tickets here.

Self-service kiosk is a convenient way for passengers to go via the relevant procedures by themselves. Self-service check-in is a completely new way of checking in that is distinct from traditional check-in counters at the airport. There is no need for passengers to wait in line to have their boarding passes printed and their seats allocated by airport staff when using self-service kiosks. Instead, passengers can access all their flight data and information with the specific check-in documentation at a self-service kiosk, choose their seats, validate related check-in information and print their boarding passes by following the on-screen prompts.
