Jetstar requests passenger not to put below items in checked baggage:

- Perishable, fading, or fragile items
- All kinds of computer
- Valuable items: precious metals and stones, jewelry, money…
- Valuable documents
- Cameras
- Electronic devices
- Business documents
- Passports, visa, identification card….
- Medication

The airline will take no responsibility for any damage to your baggage if passenger still put those items in the checked baggage.

Fees of checked baggage in Vietnam domestic flights of Jetstar Pacific:

- If passengers buy checked baggage at the time of reservation: 143.000VND (7USD) for 15kg, 165.000VND (8USD) for 20kg, 220.000VND (10USD) for 25kg, 270.000VND (12.5USD) for 30kg, 320.000VND (15USD) for 35kg and 370.000VND (17.5USD) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage after having ticket: 115.000VND (5USD) for 5kg, 130.000VND (6USD) for 10kg, 190.000VND (9USD) for 15kg, 235.000VND (11.5USD) for 20kg, 310.000VND (15USD) for 25kg, 385.000VND (19USD) for 30kg, 450.000VND (22.5USD) for 35kg and 525.000VND (26USD) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage at airport: 360.000VND (18USD) for 15kg.

- Exceeded baggage at airport: 45.000VND/ 1kg ( 2.5USD/kg).


Fees of checked baggage in flights from Ho Chi Minh – Bangkok:

- If passengers buy checked baggage at the time of reservation: 215.000VND (13USD or 350THB) for 15kg, 230.000VND (14USD or 365THB) for 20kg, 365.000VND (22USD or 590 THB) for 25kg, 470.000VND (30USD or 755THB) for 30kg, 575000VND (35USD or 925THB) for 35kg, 680.000VND (41USD or 1050THB) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage after having ticket: 235.000VND (14USD or 380THB) for 15kg, 265.000VND (17USD or 430THB) for 20kg, 545.000VND (34USD or 885THB) for 25kg, 700.000USD (43USD or 1135THB) for 30kg, 860.000VND (53USD or 1390THB) for 35kg, 1.020.000VND (62USD or 1640THB) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage at airport: 7250000VND (40USD or 1400THB) for 15kg.

- Exceeded baggage at airport: 270.000VND/kg (15USD/kg or 500THB/kg)


Fees of checked baggage in flights from Ho Chi Minh - Singapore:

- If passengers buy checked baggage at the time of reservation: 330.000VND (16USD or 20SGD) for 15kg, 347.000VND (17USD or 21SGD) for 20kg, 560.000VND (28USD or 35SGD) for 25kg, 720.000VND (36USD or 45SGD) for 30kg, 880.000VND (44USD or 55SGD) for 35kg, 1.040.000VND (52USD or 65SGD) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage after having ticket: 360.000VND (18USD or 23SGD) for 15kg, 405.000VND (21USD or 26SGD) for 20kg, 840.000VND (42USD or 53SGD) for 25kg, 1.080.000USD (54USD or 68SGD) for 30kg, 1320.000VND (66USD or 83SGD) for 35kg, 1.560.000VND (78USD or 98SGD) for 40kg.

- If passengers buy checked baggage at airport: 725.000VND (40USD or 60SGD) for 15kg.

- Exceeded baggage at airport: 270.000VND/kg (15USD/kg or 20SGD/kg).

Jetstar Pacific has regulations on checked baggage of class: Starter, Starter Plus and Starter Max (not including services). Passenger must pay fees if you have checked baggage.

- The refund for checked baggage service depends on the class of ticket.

- Checked baggage fees of non-refundable classes (Starter, Starter Plus and Business Starter) will be non-refundable.

- Checked baggage fees of refundable classes (Starter Max and Business Max) will be funded when passenger orders canceling ticket.

To bring checked baggage, passengers with Economy Starter and Starter Plus tickets must purchase baggage allowance. Passengers can purchase baggage allowance of 15kg, 20kg, 25kg, 30kg, 35kg or 40kg. Baggage allowance is applied for each kind of passenger and in each route.

Passengers with Starter Max can bring 20kg of baggage allowance and can buy up to an additional 20kg.

Passengers with Business and Business Max tickets can bring 30kg of baggage allowance and can buy up to an additional 10kg.

Baggage allowance is calculated in weight, not in piece. As long as your bags have a total weight within your allowance, you can bring as many as you want. Each piece of baggage is not more than 32kg.

Tickets of Starter, Starter Plus and Starter Max do not include checked baggage service. Passengers must pay added fees if you want to bring checked baggage.

As regulations, each passenger can bring maximum of 40kg checked baggage in flight of Jetstar:

- Economy Starter and Starter Plus passengers must buy baggage allowance. Passenger can buy a 15kg, 20kg, 25kg, 30kg, 35kg or 40kg baggage allowance. Weigh allowance is applied for each passenger and in each flight.

- Passengers with Starter Max can bring 20kg of baggage allowance and can buy up to an additional 20kg.

- Passengers with Business and Business Max tickets can bring 30kg of baggage allowance and can buy up to an additional 10kg.

Weight limits for economy tickets of Jetstar is as below:

Passengers in flight of Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Pacific (BL) buying economy tickets can bring hand baggage of a small piece and a bigger piece with total weight of 7kg.

In JQ flights, passengers with business class tickets can bring two pieces with weight of 7kg each piece (14kg in total).

Passengers can bring a small piece and a bigger one within weight allowance. Pieces of baggage also meet below regulations: Hành khách có thể mang hành lý xách tay bao gồm một kiện hàng chính và một kiện hàng nhỏ trong hạn mức trọng lượng cho phép của hành lý xách tay. Những kiện hàng này của hành khách cũng phải đáp ứng những hạn chế về kích thước như sau:

- Major piece must not exceed: 56cm long, 36cm wide, 23cm high for handbag, 114cm long, 60cm wide, 11cm high for suit pack-not rigid.

- Some small items passengers can bring in the flight including: wallet, raincoat, umbrella, free tax goods bought at the airport (international flight).

If passenger does not meet regulations on hand baggage of Jetstar airline, passenger must check in and pay fee for your baggage.
