Passengers have to pay for airfare and/or fines whenever Vietjet Air, according to order of any government or immigration department, has to carry passengers back to departing point or other approaches because passengers are not allowed to immigrate in a country whether it is a transit point or destination. In this case, the airline will not reimburse airfare to passengers.

Depending on practical conditions, Vietjet may provide service of kiosk check in. Specific conditions and instruction will be released on official website of the airline. The information can be changed without notice.

With the system of check in online or web check-in, passengers can check in at any time on any electrical device with Internet connected. Passengers can check in online before the flight, choose seat and print boarding pass to complete the check in procedure. Passengers can use Vietjet check in online from 48 hours to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.

- Passengers travel with children. Children over 2 years old can check in as adult, but the children must be accompanied by certificate of birth. Infant under 2 can be applicable to check in online, but parents or guarantee must present certificate of birth to Vietjet staff at the airport.
- Passengers lack the ability of moving or need special help.
- There are more than 10 passengers in a booking code.
- A booking code has not paid for airfare or other fees (changing, baggage…)

Children from 12-14 do not have passport, and children under 12 must meet the following requirements:

- Traveling with a legal representative over 18 years old.
- Traveling with passenger who has a same reservation code, carries the check in procedure, and travels with children along the journey.
- Having the commitment of Vietjet in taking care passengers from the departure to destination.

If children under 14 do not have passport or Identity card, their parents must have procuration with photo attached and confirmation of local policemen. The document will be kept by the guarantee of the children. Passengers should contact us to get the Form:

Passengers’ documents must meet the following conditions:

- Having the validity
- Having photo stamped, except for certificate of birth, birth certification, security control card, and identification card of airlines

Vietjet Air provides services to passengers in special health conditions such as pregnant women, infant, children, disable people, blind people, and deaf people… Passenger should present at the airport at least 2 hours to contact the airport staff for support service.

Yes. If passengers have checked baggage, passengers can to check in online, then take checked baggage to the check-in counter of Vietjet airline at the airport.

No. If passengers check in online successfully, passengers cannot change the departure date, time, refund or cancel, and do not receive any fee.
