The opening time of Vietjet Air check in counters is 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Passenger can check in from 2 hours to 30 minutes prior to the departing time.

Passengers must be at the airport. And, the latest time to check in is 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of domestic flights, and 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time of international flights.

To ensure to getting on board on time, all passengers have to present at the gate to travel to the airplane at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. If passengers do not present at the gate, passengers will lose their seats in flight. All airfare will be lost and not reimbursed.

- Check in is a procedure that confirms the implementation of passengers in the flight. In the check-in procedure, passengers will register hand baggage or checked baggage (if any), and receive a boarding pass.
- Procedure of boarding is when passengers get on board.
- Therefore, after checking in, passengers should arrange time to conduct security check, immigration procedure to be sure that passengers will present at boarding gate on time.

Yes. Passengers must present e ticket of VietJet when conducting check in procedure at the airport.

- Adult: brings one of the following identity cards (personal, military, police, driving license…), or passport.

- Children under 14 years old: must have certificate of birth. If children do not travel with parents, they must be also accompanied by authorization papers signed by their parents.

For foreign passengers: bring original passport or identity card or confirmation of diplomatic agency or consulate with photo attached. If passenger lose passport, he must present an explanation paper confirmed by passengers’ local authority.

For passengers under 14: present certificate of birth (In case children under 1month old, there must be birth certification with names of parents) or certificate of social organization where the children are being brought up.

Passengers checking in to get on Viet Jet international flights must present a passport or travel document or other valuable papers of entry and exit in accordance with Vietnam law, such as visas, permanent residence card, temporary residence card (referred to passport).

If children do not have their own passport, the name, date of birth and photos of children are written and pasted into the passport of the legal representative, including parents, father or mother or guardian.

Passengers as criminals or defendants… need to present documents of authorities who prove that the escorting.

Passengers should come to passengers’ local police station to request for issuing an identity confirmation with stamped photos. Then, passengers can use the document to buy ticket and implement the flight.

If passenger cannot check in on time, or cannot get on board, airfare will not be refunded for any reason.
