50% discount off Vietjet Air tickets to stimulate Central tourism

To immerse in the tourism promotion in Central Vietnam, price of Vietjet Air tickets for domestic routes from Saigon to central provinces falls up to 50%. The airline also operates new routes to heritage destinations in the region.

Implementing the policy of Ministry of Tourism- Sports-Culture and General Department of Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City tourism Association coordinated with Ho Chi Minh Department of Tourism along with airlines in Vietnam as Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air to officially announce domestic stimulus tourism program. The program is applied on all routes departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Haiphong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Da Nang, Dong Hoi, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Nha Trang, Buon Me Thuot, Dalat, and Phu Quoc. In particular, Vietjet Air tickets are discounted up to 50%.

On March 25, Vietjet released the discount of 50% in the signing ceremony of cooperation on tourism promotion between VietJet and Ho Chi Minh Tourism Association. The airline also operated new routes to destinations in Central Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City-Chu Lai (27/5), Ho Chi Minh City-Dong Hoi (29/4) and Hanoi-Quy Nhon (26/4) in response to the National Tourism Year 2015 with the theme "Impressive World Heritages in Vietnam." Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association said that the cost of airfare usually accounts for about 45-50% of the tour, so Vietjet Air committed to support 50%, which ensure to stimulate domestic tourism demand significantly. It also gives tourists opportunities to travel with lower cost. Particularly, the tourism promotion this year aims to promulgating World Heritages in Vietnam, especially in Central Vietnam as well as new routes of Vietjet being exploited. This helps to save travel expenses. The highlight of this event is that airlines are active for 11 tour operators participating in stimulus tourism program to receive discounted rates from 40% - 65%, and flight times have been improved compared to the previous ones, minimizing incidents during flights. Besides, travel companies also actively set up tours based on cheap airfares promotion.
